  1. Count me in - we need some sunshine here in Calgary to get rid of the snow.
  2. i don't recall there being an antique copper and i don't it on the geocoincollection list. there was an antique nickel/polished copper one. rsg yes thats the one,, i found this out last night reading thru the orginal thread for the cf coins. do you know if there was both a glitter ribbon and a regular ribbon, for that copper version? I think I've got one of those for trade. Check my lists out and maybe we can trade. I'll be back home in a few days.

  4. Midnight is the end of the event, the coins might be sold out by then. I am not reserving coins at this time, it will be first come first served. If there are coins left over, then yes, people not attending can get in on them. Thanks for the info - we'll see you at 10:01pm Two hours for coin trading and stories - no way. I'm sure many of us will find places to look at coin collections well after midnight.See you there.
  5. Coins at the event only? Can I reserve two for C-side Girl and Tethys C. We'll see you at midnight. Great looking coin - I'm sure it will be a fun event.
  6. Haven't done a Mission in a while. This is a nice simple one. Count me in.
  7. Hey OnD - Flower of Life BN?? Send me an e-mail if interested. TC
  8. Thanks for the link on those Tschakko! I was also looking for one for my cat and I think that cat one in the picture looks good for him... Below is the dog coin I which someone posted a link to in this thread, I think this would be perfect for my German Shepherd. Problem is I can't find it for sale anywhere! I found someone who had it in their trade list on a geocoin trade site but they said they would ONLY trade it and I don't have any other coins so I can't trade them. Hi guys, I've got a set of these coins and I'd be happy to send you an Antique Bronze coin to place on your dog's collar. Your geo-dog and mine can be long distance geodog buddies!! Check out our Jasmine's Geodog page at TB1H64C Send me your address and I'll get it out to you.
  9. Jasmine the Geodog. She has been a wonderful member of our family for the last 3 1/2 years with the last two as a Geocaching companion. Here she is on the rocks of Frank Slide in southern Alberta at a Moun10Bike cache GC1138 Our regal looking Jaz at a Glacial Erratic Earthcache on Nosehill in Calgary, Alberta After a tough day of geocaching...... Our Jasmine is a walking TB and gets logged at various events around Calgary. Check her out here - TB1H64C Thanks for the great puppies cointest. Nice to see everyones four-legged caching companions.
  10. mmmmm trilobites!!! They go well with ammonites.
  11. A package from Landsharkz with the gorgeous North-South-East-West Canada coins - they look fantastic. Great work on the design Chris. Also the Cache Effect - "Coming Out Of The Closet" coins. It's nice to finally put a name....to a name!! Thanks to Kootenay Pirates for all your hard work as reviewers for the Alberta Cachers.
  12. So, I'm walking up to my mailbox when out of the sky flies this black crow with a snowball in its talons. She (oh yes - it was a 'she') releases it at the perfect moment and splat - right in my ear!! It was quite the shot - and I will display this pretty snowball next to my Yáahl Raven feathers. Thanks Sarah for the 'splat'. Also enjoying my Funky Frog coins from a while ago, LFD's smokin' bones and just did a Cache coin swap with Graylling - copper ammonites for a couple of his coins and a Volunteer coin. Thanks all!!
  13. You can add slide shows as well with Photobucket (I'm sure other programs work). Check out my geo-dog Jasmine's geocoin page at TB1H64C.
  14. Love my underwater 'dogbone'. Totally cool coin and a new favorite.
  15. ....and thank you to DaFunky Frogs for their great looking copper version plus the personal poker chip and zipper pull - that almost sounds rude. Also thanks SO much for the viral frogs that came with the bubble envelope!!!
  16. I've been waiting over a week for a couple of Hoyt Axton CD's that I ordered through Amazon. (Gotta love Hoyt!! ) Disappointment at their absence in the mailbox turned to elation when I spied that now familiar black bubbler. Count Tethys C as 'roped in' and part of the posse. Thanks Geo-Bandit - number 253 will be treasured always.
  17. Maybe a GeoRoadKill coin series. Collect them as you off a squirrel or bunny or skunk....you get the picture (although maybe you don't really want to)
  18. Congrats to the Sasquatch finders. This is one of my many 'nicknames' being 6'7" and a bit hairy. I'll have to make a trip down to SE British Columbia to try and find a 'real' sasquatch.
  19. Right on Bernice!! Who delivered it....Quigley DownUnder?? ....and the flip flop comment.......uncalled for - it is getting COLD up here in Calgary. Take care and Happy Caching.
  20. Okay, just bought 4 with the hope of hours of fun making up images with various coins. It may be a steep and slippery slope - but I'm willing to climb it.
  21. Thanks for the trade guys. Love the Honus!!! They arrived today.
  22. Another beauty coin. Had to also get the matching King and Queen with the splashes of colour. Nice work again Chris.
