  1. I just realised that in nearly all my caches I use country flags from a website geocaching.pl, which was made for the polish community. While creating a new cache I faced the external website block. Uploading directly to the cachepage is destroying the transparent background of the image. Can this website please be whitelisted?
  2. I realized that when you're editing a log in a cache for a longer time period (40 minutes or more), the tab in the browser with edit window is freezing. The longer you are editing the log, the more impact it has on your browser – the same happens in chrome, firefox and so on. Additionally, this lagging happens also while creating a cache and writing the description instantly during the creation process instead of doing it afterwards in the edit geocache mode. I asked some people if they experienced something like this too, and they agreed. I guess this is because of some old, badly optimized code of the website, but I can't find any topic about this problem. Is HQ aware of this and are there any steps planned to fix that? Greetings
  3. The fact that you didn't hear about this from the reviewer is really astonishing. In theory this cache should not be published. However, cases like that may show a different perspective on some things (for example Letterbox Bonus caches). I don't think multi as a bonus is a good idea, but as you have one, you should be able to add the attribute "Bonus cache". It is not your fault that you can't.
  4. It may be the case, that the "bonus" is only in the name, and the cache itself don't require any data from previous caches. Woah, stop right there. "so it is exactly the same thing than a multi cache" No it is not, because it is a part of something different, and finding other caches can't be a part of a multi. I see that you find the name "Mystery Cache" very confusing, because you think this has to be a mystery. Reality is, a Mystery Cache can be a quiz or puzzle to solve, but it is also there to fill the gap in the cachetypes. Everything which does not belong anywhere -> is a Mystery Cache. In this case it is stated as a bonus cache, to not make a new cachetype. Exactly like with challenges. It is worth seeing this from a global perspective. I can't imagine bonus caches in 4 or more different cachetypes spread across the planet, because every owner is goin to have a different interpretation. From the other hand, maybe they shouldn't be bonus caches in the first place, and just... caches?
  5. There is a topic for changes made in the app: That is true, there are a lot of non-mystery bonuses. I can imagine a Letterbox as a bonus, because the only change is the stamp. I really hope, that HQ will consider changing guidelines and letting Letterboxes be out there as a bonus. I don't see a reason why this should not be the case. Funny that this came out because of the new attribute But I don't understand how Wherigo or Multi can be a bonus cache. It has nothing to do with the concept of a bonus then. It may be as a series final, but only additionally.
  7. Exactly. My friend even asked a reviewer, and he had no problem with publishing this type of cache as a bonus. I guess this is not what HQ wants, but yeah... reality is different
  8. Are there any plans of adding search for negative attributes? I see, and as you wrote, currently it is impossible
  9. That is interesting, because I saw many which are not, and are Letterbox Hybrids instead. Its practically not much of a difference.
  10. This was missing for a long time! Are there any plans of changing any other attributes in the future or adding some? I'm missing some kind of attribute similar to the "Yard", which would tell us that the place owner, where the cache is hidden, knows about the container and geocaching. I can remember some caches, where this attribute could be helpful.

Faktycznie...

  13. Okay, why don't you click "Edit" on your current profile photo and just upload it there?
  14. This is a delay, but this is not lasting long. I have noticed that this happens when the site may experience many active users at once – for example on Saturday or Sunday. But no wonder that it may occur randomly, due to high load. I guess the value in top right corner is not being refreshed everytime you log a cache, but every some period of time – and thats not a priority for website functioning.
  15. There is a bug when it comes to events and disabling them later on (after they are finished). When going into the Cache Owner Dashboard I can see that 4 caches of mine require attention. Two of these caches are my disabled physical caches. I can also see that I have 2 events with filter Disabled (Published) But after clicking the Events tab, I can't see anything. The number of events also changes from 2 to 0. This is very missleading. It would be better if the events wouldn't show up at all and would not be counted into the total of Attenion needed caches or it should show correctly in the events tab – which events are disabled.
  16. Yeah, I forgot about the word "extremely" When I think about it, I had problems with Message Center multiple times, and know it is obvious why. I tested this "bug" in a way. I've sent a message to my friend from my friendslist. The message (like shown as an example in first post) went through, with no problem at all. So i tested this with a different account. I've sent a message to an account which is not on my friendslist and the message went through. But the other way around - This account couldn't reply to me with the same message (??)
  17. This looks like a badly designed blocking of external links, but except blocking only them, it is looking for dots without spaces on either side.
  18. What do you need it for? Because if you want, you can use in-cache image upload (from unpublished caches for example) and then you have your photo uploaded. I know this isn't the answer to the problem itself, because this upload you mentioned is not working for me either, but it is a workaround.
  19. Hello, I just realised that after logging drafts from last week, all my logs on caches which I have not found, changed their dates automatically to the day I logged them. Example: DNF draft from 4th August, changed (before submitting) to 8th August (today). I realised this after logging bunch of them, so I had to change dates manually. This problem does not occur on Found It logs. Is this a known bug? That is the first time I had this problem. Maybe it has something to do with the removal of choosing date in Attendeed logs on events?
  20. I must say that I am impressed! Very good concept, and going through all cache logs is so much easier now. I only hope that the button to the new Cache Owner Dashboard will be moved to a better, intuitive place, because now I struggled to find it. I have some suggestions, maybe useful : - while being for example in Published caches it would be nice to have an option to "jump" directly into Archived or Unpublished caches - Maybe in the section "Helpful links" there could be added an option to go into Adoption webpage https://www.geocaching.com/adopt/ Anyways, good job!
  21. I noticed the same bug for me. It is at least 2 days now since I experienced it the first time.
  22. I don't get it. Why it has replaced the trackable moved/discovered number, instead of just being added extra?
  23. I'm not planning trips with project-gc, and I only use lists for marking caches which are interesting for me. That is why I proposed a "delete found caches" option or any other way to select found caches only, so I can easily delete them. I see no response to that idea from HQ, although people like this concept..
  24. I have a question about cache organisation in the list. When I go anywhere further away from home I create a list of Mystery Caches, Multi-Caches and other solved or must-have geocaches. But I was never able to find all caches from the list, so after the trip (for example) only half of them has the "Found it" status. The question is, in the new experience will there be a possibility to quickly select all these found caches and delete them from the list? It is possible now to delete them, but you have to manually select each cache which is taking a decent amount of time. I guess the new experience could have such a quick-delete button or possibly a complex tool for selecting caches within the list.
