  6. Hey Ramness570 Nice X!!. I am not at home today so I can't tell ya whats wrong with Easy gps. I will try it later today after work. Hope you get it figured out.
  7. Just a quick note to say "congrats" on your upcoming wedding!! Even if you don't get a GPSr this summer-go out and buy a compass print out some maps of local caches and do some walking to find them. Congratulations on oyur wedding and good luck caching!!
  8. I just returned from my local Sam's Club. COuld not find this deal. They had 4(FOUR) 1850 batteries with a wall charger for 28.95. Oh well. I guess I will always be a "Day Late and a Dollar Short"
  9. Just wanted to say thanks for all the replys. I am very excited about traveling to the U.K. It will be our first trip over seas. I am a Chef by trade and can't wait to try some differant types of food. The weather is not a big issue for us because we live in Minnesota, where we have had a VERY stange winter. Lack of snow/very cold temps. Once again thanks for the replies.
  10. I am planning to visit the U.K sometime in 2004. My wife anad I are going to take about three weeks and visit the area about 30 miles west of London. Someone suggested that we visit Bath, Oxford,Stratford, Salisbury/Stonehenge, and Bradford upon Avon(?). Does anyone have other suggestions for us? What is a good time of year to travel in the U.K.? Planning to do alittle caching while I am in the U.K. Any other suggestions for us to do? Thanks for your help/suggestions
  11. Well, I just up-graded my Meriplat to 4.02. Hopefully I can go out after work tomorrow and give it a try on my FIRST cache! Yes I am new to GPSr. This is a great site. Thanks for all the information and advice. I also belong to XTERRA OWNERS CLUB (xoc). Yes, I think that everybody needs a little ribbing when they first come to a board. (putting on FLAME SUIT).
