Thanks for your explanations and advices. Indeed, the premium account is cheap. I agree, the coordinates only can be sometime not enough to find the cache. The Magellan is provided with one month of free premium account (according Amazon), it's a good thing for trying it.

Hi everyone, I have discovered geocaching recently and it's a really pleasant activity. However, I am tracking the caches using my (very) old TomTom device, with a terrible accuracy. I'm thinking about buying a better GPS, such as the Magellan eXplorist GC or another receiver. I would like to know if a need a premium account to use this device and send to it the caches locations.
