  1. TomC1426, I'm using my Motorola cell phone charger (with a straight in mini usb tip) to power my GO400t in the car or on my scooter. Never falls out, works great
  2. Oregon 400T upgraded to latest firmware, Duracell 2650 rechargables, 4GB PNY Micro SD Card, full CNNA NT 2010 loaded over the topo 100k and love it. I wish my cache finding skills were as good as the gpsr has been getting me to the cache areas...<G>. I have modified the profiles for High visibility using the tips found on the GO400T wiki. My wife and I alternate getting to caches and she finds it just as handy as I do. By the way, I live in S. central MN and just got back from a couple days trip to SD, found several caches while out there, loved using the 400t
  3. I recently got the Oregon 400T and purchased City Navigator NA 2009. I only selected my state and the surrounding 12 states / provinces maps' (From CN NA) to upload to the Oregon (we rarely ever travel out of that range), and still don't have a micro SD. For example, I have Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Manitoba, and Ontario and am only using about 75% of the Oregon's storage. I do have a small Geocache and Waypoint set (Approx 108 or 10%), keep my tracks small etc.
  4. Newbie posting here with my impression of the Oregon 400T I just bought at local BB with a ....40% off certificate.... Then got the 10% off on a Garmin purchase of City Nav NA 2009 installed it with just the nearest 10 states or so. We're not far travellers, and are Geocaching to get me off the couch and out in the weather, The hunt is the fun for me... I'm VERY Happy, and the software and maps worked like a charm. Have tracked to a cache using both Automotive and Geocaching modes a couple times already. BTW, my carabiner clicked on great.. Working on a RAM mount for my scooter next... As a newbie, I do appreciate hearing all (ALL) the details you more experienced folks pass along in the forums. The last handheld GPS I used was back in my USAF days over 5 years ago. What a difference.... Anyway, what additional maps would you all recomend? (Minnesota area and surrounding states).
