What about under water-- not floating?

Sometimes it feels like moving junk from one place to another. For that reason, it's really nice to get to a cache that has a theme or unusual trade items. Someone left eight bucks in the last cache I wnet to. That's a bit odd. But I did do a cache that exchanged CDs (with permission).

Thanks for the input. I'm sure it's my mind that is losing accuracy as it ages.

Some electronics that transmit a signal (ie: avalanche beacons) suffer from signal drift over time. That is that they transmit on a very specific frequency. And, with age the signal transmission can drift away from that frequency. I'm not asking if I'm getting signal drift on a GPSr (as it does not transmit) but, can an older GPSrs lose accuracy over time (aging processors, etc)?

This is a little scary!
