I'm trying to learn the TracBack function on my Garmin GPSIII. How cloes (i.e. how many feet) does it record changes in direction, or do I need to enter waypoints in order to find my way back to where I started? (On one of my first excursions I used GOTO to try to return to camp and came up (on top) of several cliffs. I was so disoriented I did not know how to return to the deer track that led me to the cache, and it was getting dark...Anyway, I need to learn how to TracBack. Any advice is appreciated.
