  3. We placed a cache in Akron (Derby Champ's Treasure Chest) several years ago. At the time I had made arrangements with an Akron Cacher to help maintain the cache. I am now seeing that the logbook is full and I have attempted to contact the other person but to no avail. Are there any of you in the Akron area that would be willing to help me maintain this cache? http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...49-0dc50e14e160 Thanks for your help. Soap Box Derby Family
  4. My family and I, while participating in the 66th All American Soap Box Derby, hid a cach. While trying to have it approved we ran into a snag - they won't approve it as we are not in the immeadiate area to maintain the cache. Is there anyone in the vicinity of Akron or Derby Downs that would agree to do this for us? We are very anxious to have this set as we also have a travel bug starting its journey there

  6. Thanks to all the replies. My homeroom has choosen SC as SpielBUG's starting point. They are thinking this will get it off to a good start and since they can't plant it on the east coast themselves it will still leave from the east coast. I am excited about this project and can't wait to see the results. Jim
  7. My 7th grade homeroom at Mountain Valley Middle School has a travel bug and would like to start it on it's way, BUT way up here in the north (Mexico, ME) it is cold and the ground is snow covered so it would be very difficult to get our bug in a cache. We are looking for someone in the Eastern US that is willing to have the bug mailed to them and then quickly get it in an active cache. If you can help us out please let me know and we can make arrangements to have the Bug Delivered to you. Thanks Jim [This message was edited by soapboxderbyfamily on January 29, 2003 at 07:30 PM.]
