I am new to the forum. I represent a two person team, my husband and I. We have just recently started geocaching after my brother bought us a GPS for Christmas(it was sooo very thoughtful of him). I am the one who gets online and looks at all the forums. You could say that I am a lurker, but there is a lot of good information in the forum and at this point I think it is good for me to just take it all in. I spent the entire morning reading over all of the getting started threads. It was a little overwhelming, but exciting at the same time. Geocaching amazes me!! I will warn you though-i am one of those forum posters who like to use smileys. It just characterizes the whole post! Happy Caching!

My husband and I got a GPS for Christmas. In our excitement we went ahead and signed up for an account together. Now we have been thinking about changing our username and I was wondering if I should go ahead and set up diffrent accounts. Most of the time my husband and I will be caching together, but there may be some instances that I would find a cache by myself (or vice versa) that he wouldn't find. I am just a little torn about the whole situation because it doesn't seem like an easy process. What do you guys think?

MY HUSBAND AND I FOUND A COUPON IN A CACHE THAT WE FOUND YESTERDAY FOR A FREE APPETIZER AT A LOCAL RESTURAUNT. I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT IDEA-WE WENT AND TREATED OURSELVES OUT TO DINNER AFTER A LONG DAY OF CACHING!
