  1. Heading to San Diego...

I am going to San Diego Thursday, Friday, & Saturday for a work convention. Plan do some caching while down there. If you have any bugs that need to head south let me know. If there are any caches that I shouldn't miss while there, let me know that too. Thanks.

Wow! Did you see some of his caches? The 12 Step Program is something many of us could use. When I see these caches I am always in awe...Do I NOT have enough free time, Do I lack the energy to create such a cache, or am I just not smart enough. Probably all of the three icon_wink.gif.

    Thanks for sharing Ron.

Kablooey makes a good point. When I first placed this subject on the forum I didn't anticipate all the response. Glad other people think about these things too.

What channel is this on? I don't recall seeing this program being listed with the regular shows. Must be a premium channel icon_wink.gif.

    SIR. YES SIR.

    Checking in as instructed.

Don't know what to think of these site improvements. Stuff missing, then not missing, then moved around. Hope things settle down soon.

Doesn't seem like there is ever enough time to cache. Hopefully get some time this weekend.

It's approved (as there were no train tracks nearby). http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=59928 icon_biggrin.gif Too bad the park is closed at night because this would be a ''best hunted at night'' cache.

Pictures will be value added even though it's very huntable without them.

Fun one to hunt with the family. You don't need the photo either. Very huntable without. You could however eliminate the ants. icon_redface.gif What is it with our family and ants? We did manage avoid any problems. icon_smile.gif The ants also reminded us that we need to get back to GiddyUp! and finish our hunt there. Never enough time with three chitlans. Maybe this weekend?

Also caught up with Ron while caching. Had a nice chat. Sorry to steal the thunder on this one Ron. You won't hold that against us I hope. icon_wink.gif Anyway, our thanks to Mr. Toad and Green Achers for the fun.

True, very true. Strap on those hip waders, or for those more divine walk right on top (uh oh, that will probably generate some flack.) But hey, were just having fun here, right?!

Pedal until your legs cramp up and then pedal some more.

You're probably right. My post was only meant to be funny, not factual. I have'nt gone after that cache yet. Actually planning a kayak/cache day as it should be warming up soon. Should have went last weekend, but too much going on.

That one certainly sounds like fun, but we don't have any type of floatation device. Heck, I can't even get http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=51037!

I would agree with you Jaimee. Although still relatively new at this (geocaching), I have learned that the people who do participate are of fairly good caliber. Not likely that a fellow cacher is stealing caches. Very likely that people who stumble upon them, or see someone hunting them might take the cache. That just means we have to be creative in how we hide them. Right?

They're not just in the Phoenix area Indiana. I lost my first placement here in California. Some people just enjoy spoiling the fun for others.

Plus there's lots of great caches up here, including http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=57117. Ok, that was a shameless plug icon_razz.gif but what the heck.

Wish we could make it. Too much going on this weekend like MRI's on knees and spring cleaning at home. I have the Lil Devil Decoder Ring if any needs it. Looks like a fun cache to hunt.

Thanks for the tip. icon_smile.gif I emailed 9Key who helped me out. The cache is now only temporarily unavailable until I replace it. Nice to know that there is help for those who make rookie mistakes.

  15. We had a great time the Strings event. Thanks again to Fallen and if I remember right, JaimeeG who originally got the dinner idea going with Olive Garden for the 1 year anniversary. As a newbie it was nice to be included. The crew from Camelot enjoyed meeting so many others and learning some tips for better Geocaching.

My first placement Is Your GPSr Off Target is gone icon_frown.gif After reading the post by Marky I went to check it. So here is my question...I archived the cache because it is gone and don't want to rehide in the same spot, but after doing that I saw the temporary disable button. If I want to change the coordinates and rehide will I be able to bring this back from the archives?
