Magellan came out with their crossover unit that was both a car/outdoor unit. It has been discontinued but you can still find it on Amazon. I cannot speak on how well it performs because I don't own one, but you can check out the reviews for it and see if that is what you're looking for. tjwags

I had a the same issue when I had to reload WinXP and tried to install my Topo 3D USA. I emailed Magellan tech support and they sent me some links for the maps. I have to use Vantagepoint or put them directly on my GPSr. Since those maps are for legacy products, they turned off the function for verifying that software. I was dissappointed that I didn't get an unlock code or something so I could use the software.
