  1. Thanks. I found that download and was able to make the package work in Streets & Trips. Now everything is fine.
  2. Can't help you with the closed and open treasure box, but I use this package to put the cache icons on both my gps, mapsource and S&T. The geocache mode on the 60CSx is not functional with these symbols, but I find that to be a plus. To indicate a found cache I change the cache type to a smiley on the GPS.
  3. Perhaps not too many geocachers use a computer for getting off road to the exact coordinates of a cache, but I have heard of some who do use Delorme Street Atlas for managing waypoints and getting close. The recent versions of Street Atlas, SA2010 and SA2011, seem pretty handy for the purpose. Have you been using either of these versions? These versions of SA at least have the icons. I use my Garmin GPSMAP 60csx to get to the exact location. Have used Street Atlas for years to give an overall view and am very familiar with it and its icons. So I wanted to try Streets & Trips which has some features I really like, but I want the geocaching icons and have not been able to find them.
  4. I usually use Delorme Street Atlas, but am considering changing to Microsoft Streets & Trips. I need the icons for caches - closed chest, open chest, etc. Does anyone know where I can get these icons? Thanks.
  5. Are you trying to run the exact same query? They can only be run once a day each. If it is a new or different one - did you select a day for it to run? It was not the same one. First I tried to get another one that is on my list of queries. After that did not work, I created an entirely new one, and it did not go either. I generally do not select a day to run at first to be sure I actually are getting the information I want - which is what I did on the one that actually went through. After making sure it is the places I want then I select a day to run. When I started having problems today I tried it both ways.
  6. Early this morning I requested a pocket query and it went through. But a few minutes later, and for the rest of the day, when I click the submit information button absolutely nothing happens. Are others having this problem/
  7. Is it possible to find a list of all the bookmarks that are public?
  8. Can you give me a specific GC number for one of the caches in the Route 66 series you mentioned from Barstow to Needles?
  9. I am still not getting logs. We are planning a trip, so I have just wasted two days time, and 10 PQs. It is 10:03 pm and I just got two more that do not have logs.
  10. For an update to the resolution to this problem --- I had sent an email to geocaching.com and finally got a reply a week later. They gave several things to check which I had already checked. I told them again exactly what the problem was and everything I had done. Two days later everything was working right again. They never told me what the problem was. what caused it, or anything. But obviously it was something they had done, not me. At least everything is working ok now Thanks to all of you who offered help.
  11. Thanks for the reply Corey. However, I tried those links and the geocaching, com page shows me as logged in but the pocket queries still keeps coming back with the message that I must log in.
  12. For the last two days I have not been able to log into the pocket caches page even though I am logged in to the geocaching.com page and the forums. When I go to the pocket cache page it says I must log in, and then when I enter my information it comes back with the same page saying I must log in. Can someone help please?
  13. Greetings, Due to airline changes, we have just been notified that we are being dumped in Phoenix for an overnight at our expense. We are happy to be in Phoenix, but we need an inexpensive hotel for the night, hopefully with airport transportation. Can anyone give us any suggestions please? Then, we would of course like to get some caches. We will be arriving Nov 1 about noon and departing Nov 2 about noon, so we have about 24 hours. We will not have transportation though. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Lyni9 and Gas409 Iris & Glenn Scott Austin, Tx
  14. I will be using it on a Garmin GPSMap 60Csx.

    Bonaire

I just found that there are some geocaches on Bonaire. I had checked geocaching.com and clicked Bonaire which said there were none there. When reading Bonaire Talk on www,infobonaire.com I found a cache listed. On going to the page for that one I found that there are actually 5 on Bonaire - though one shows as inactive due to a conflict with coordinates. And actually NOW that inactive one is shown for Bonaire though none of the rest are shown. So I am happy that I can go geocaching, in addition to scuba diving and bird watching on our Bonaire trip this year.
  16. I had been told that the preloaded microSD chip could be used in any unit - of course it could be inserted in only one unit at a time. In this case the unlock code was attached to the chip, not to the unit it was used in.
  17. Does anyone have City Navigator NT North America that they want to sell? I know many people are upgrading to units that don't need or use this, so might want to sell this separate from your GPS unit. I want to be able to look at maps on my computer - someone said that you could not do this with the preloaded chip, only with the CD. Is this true? I want to use this on a 60Csx.

    Bonaire

Are there no geocachers in Bonaire. Geocachers.com doesn't list any caches in Bonaire. I was wondering why not as there are caches in nearby Aruba.
