Any local cachers (Morris County) going to Geowoodstock this year. I just picked up a TB and that is its destination.

I bought hiking pants at Ramsey Outdoor called Buzz Off. They are treated with insect sheild. I also got the spray for clothing and used it on my shirt. Used 40% Deet on skin. It seemed to work but then 1 geocaching hike is probably not a good enough test.

You were the first geocacher I got to know when I was a newbie. Loved caching with you and loved your events. You, Rose and Jillian will be sorely missed.

Still picking ticks off this AM from caching yesterday despite scalding scrub in shower. There was once a thread that mentioned a rinse for clothes that you used in the washer to give your hiking clothes some repellant properties. Anyone know what that was or where to get it?

Island Hopper is a very neat cache to do and a wonderful day of paddling. I can't remember if he did Secaucus Panorama or not but if not that would be an excellent choice. Old Glory NJ Style is a good one as well. Not sure of what you guys have done.

After a 3 week pause I finally found my 1000th cache at Secaucus Panorama accompanied by Joisey Girll and Treequest.

I am actually tearing up reading this thread. Condolence Kevin. Bailey's spirit will live on all your future hikes and in the hearts of the many cahcers she has met.
