  1. Sorry I wasn't clear.. what I meant was it is common to see geokrety's in the UK (and elsewhere in Europe). Probably more common than seeing them in Missouri). And the site seems to be down now. (But it is not usually down!). Got ya! lol. I can be a little slow sometimes. Thanks again for the help!
  2. The Geokrety (which is a Polish site - "Krety" means "mole") can't be logged on geocaching.com. What those instructions are saying is that when you log on geokrety.org you can indicate the geocaching.com cache that the Geokrety is now in. You WONT see it looking at the geocaching.com page for the cache, but you will see it on geokrety.org. geokrety.org seems to be down. These are fairly common to see here in the UK. Great, thanks for the help! Makes more sense. Weird that sites are down in the UK a lot.
  3. Yes they are but it also indicates you can track it at geocaching.com. And the geokrety.org site is not working for me. I just may place it elsewhere. Maybe someone else can figure it out.
  4. What's the GC code of the cache where you found it? Did previous logs mention a trackable in the cache? Did you mention finding it in your log? Does it say "trackable at geocaching.com" on it? B. This is what it says word for word "This is a Trackable. DO NOT keep it. *Take this GeoKret *Note the Tracking Code *Hide in another cache *Log the trip at http://geokrety.org *To drop in a cache on Geocaching.com, you will need the GC code and the GPS coordinates from the cache page. No need to register in order to log it." No mention from previous cachers in the logs. I did mention finding it but not in great detail. I just logged I found a trackable. I would contact the cahcer who placed it but I can't find ANY info about them or the trackable. Thanks for the help. I think I will just drop it in Colorado next week while on vacation.
  5. I recently found a trackable. I went home to log it, but it wasn't logged in the cache I had found it in. I then tried to find it by searching for the trackable on geocaching.com with the tackable code. Nothing came up. Then I tried to search for it by the person who placed it, nothing came up. Then I saw it said on the trackable to go to GeoKrety.org to log it. The website would not work for me. Any ideas what I should do with it?? It is out of my way to put it back where I found it. Please help! Thank you!
  6. I'm not a premium member, and noticed in a park near my home, that the geocache app (free) did not show all the caches that the geocahe map on the website had. Has this happened to other cachers? I like to be spontaneous and be able to just pull out your phone and find what caches are around you. Thanks!
  7. A relatively small number of caches are by and for premium members. It doesn't mean they are necessarily better; some people don't like to have their caches found with the free app, or have other reasons. I looked at the map from one of your found caches, and there aren't that many near you. I wouldn't worry about it. Thanks for checking! There are a ton of caches near me, so I probably won't upgrade to premium for awhile. And I'm also having troubles finding caches lol. I think I need a better "sense".
  8. If there is a bike trail or park I know, I just google the park name with the word "geocaching" and I usually find something. Or you can use the map and zoom in on your area, but it doesn't always work on my computer. Also, I had no idea there were more caches for premium members. How exactly does that work? Thanks.
  9. A little off topic, but what are acceptable trade items. I feel like I've found a lot of junk in them, which I don't mind. It's fun to take and keep to remember your find. I've been leaving hemp necklaces made with my handmade beads. I made them years ago and I love them, but have so many.
