Maxpau

I just got a Montana GPS. I was really happy until I realized that there was really no map on. Just a useless Basecamp map. I know one can download an open street map, but how? Could someone please help me? If you give me instructions aimed like at a 3-year old, I would be really happy : ) Thanks a lot.
