  1. Another happy Cacheberry user here!!
  2. I used the Treo and the 60csx and it loved the combination. I used GSAK and loaded to Cachemate on the Treo (Palm). Easy process to transfer to the Treo. My only reservation was the worry of dropping the Treo ito the snow, stream, rocks, etc etc. The 60csx is a rugged little beast but the Treo would not have liked any abuse. I now use the 60csx and a Blackberry running Cacheberry since I had to switch PDA's for work support...
  3. Used to use: GSAK Treo (Palm) Cachemate Since work forced me to switch to a Blackberry (sure miss the Treo!) I now use: GSAK BB Curve Cacheberry I prefer the Treo over the BB, but have to say I really am enjoying using Cacheberry... And of course, GSAK is the engine that makes it all possible!
  4. I used Cachemate on my Treo for a year or so, and then when my work required me to use a Blackberry I was worried about paperless caching... so I started using Cacheberry a few months ago. All in all, I am very pleased with the app. I still download to my Nuvi to get me to the cache area, but switch to my 60CSX and Cacheberry once on the trail. Pros: User interface and navigation Search features and filter on searches Email yourself all your notes from each cache with links to take you to GC.com Swap to GC.com from Cacheberry for last minute log info Sort features (especially sort by GPS coords so all near caches are sorted together Support by the developer. He continually makes upgrades based on user feedback and is very responsive on his forums. Easy updating of new versions Multiple database support Cons: Large database support. I like to load 2500+ caches into a single database. Not practical with Cacheberry. I have to break it into smaller databases for performance and load time efficiency. Still works, but an inconvenience. I really like the application and give a 2 thumbs up!
  5. I second the vote for the Nuvi. I have a 60csx for the trail and a Nuvi 350 for the car. I use both for geocaching, and LOVE the Nuvi. It gets me close to the cache site and since I download all the cache info (including logs) to the Nuvi I can screen caches before deciding to make the drive. I then switch to the 60csx to get me to the cache. My wife (non-cacher) also loves the Nuvi for basic navigation.
