  1. I've been wondering the same thing. I've found many caches here that were placed many years after this original post in 2010. The cache approvers would not allow these if there was a ban, correct?
  2. Thanks. I reached out to them via email.
  3. One of my trackables was dropped off, but the previous holder of it didn’t log it out of their inventory. It’s actually shown in some guy’s YouTube video with its code visible and other geocachers are discovering it. I tried messaging the previous holder but she is not a premium member so I assume she’s not receiving my messages. There has been no response ever. How can I reach them? The YT video owner didn’t retrieve it, but I don’t know if it’s still there as it was almost a month ago when the video was made.
  4. How does a future finder grab it, if it's not appearing on the app? There's nowhere for them to type in the secret code if it's not on the app page. Correct? Is there another way to log it in?
  5. I have a TB that has been in the hands of a cacher since January 2020. The last time I heard back from them was May 2020 when they were in lockdown due to COVID. I've since replied to them in July 2020 with no reply and today, March 2021, asking if they still have it and if they can drop it off or mail it back to me, offering to pay for postage. I hope to see it move again. Another question, one of my other TBs popped up on a YouTube channel in the following cache (GC8V7YG), but the previous holder didn't drop it off using the app. I've messaged them hoping that they drop it off, but they haven't been responsive. If they don't drop it, can I electronically take it out of their hands and place it in the cache? The YouTuber filmed the TB, but didn't retrieve it so I know it's still there.
  6. Yes! I have a Chuck Norris TB. I drilled a hole in his leg to pass the tether through. Dulled my drill bit too (it is Chuck Norris, of course). He has travelled over 5,000 miles from California (TH8HHEK). He slowed down during COVID though.
  7. There is a cache near my house that I have been unable to find. I tried messaging the CO repeatedly and they have not responded. Then, recently, there were notes of 3 "Finds", but when I read the comments, they were clearly "Not Finds". Frustrating. The last "find" is a photo of something else, but no log.
  8. Yes, completely agree with the last sentence. We found this clever cache "4:10 to Big Horn" (GC73FA4) in Borrego Springs, CA a few months ago and it made complete sense when we saw the cache container.
