  1. Didn't place any, but did do some caching Christmas eve and day just to get out of the house.
  2. Got mine in the mail today! Very nice design. Destination = Glossup, UK. Looks like there are plenty of caches in the area. While I dont have any personal or imediate family history of Diabetes, I do see alot of patients with Diabetic Retinopathy in my profession. The frustrating ones for me are the ones that are well aware that they have diabetes, but are non-chalant about keeping it under control. Since a person can sustain a good amount of damage to the retina without it affecting their vision, until quiet literally they can wake up blind one morning, the "silent" aspect of the disease lulls them into a false sense of security. Same will all the other parts of the body affected by diabetes. If they could see things from my end, they would take it alot more seriously. Hmm.. . good thing I am not a proctologist lol... Anyway, I digress... I will this worthwhile TB out and about during the holidays!
  3. oh.. and I know the TBs and GCs will be much harder. I might just do the first of each that I found. BTW, the first GC I found was from AZ, placed in Alaska, I brought it back to TX and with in just a week or two was in the Great Lakes area.. amazing travels! Thanks again!
  4. Ahhh!!... I didnt know you could delete your own log! Is that option under the "found it, write note, etc.. " section? I didnt want to just ignore it because I didnt want THEIR found count to be off. As soon as I hit "submit" I figured I should have used the original date I will experiment with another one and see how it goes. Thanks for the ideas!
  5. Well, after much criticism from my family about the name I chose originally for us, plus it was rather long to write on some of the micro caches, I have decided to take the plunge and change names. Now, I know I could just start from scratch with my found caches and TB/GC but I like to "keep in touch" with some of them. Especially the first, or more memorable ones, or ones where I have placed a TB/GC to make sure I didnt leave it in a cache and it was later missing (I would feel terrible if I put a trackable in a cache and it was stolen), or following the progress of my first found TB, seeing what others said about ones that I thought were difficult, or easy..... etc... I dont have a lot of finds, so while it will be time consuming, it shouldnt be impossible. My question is, is there one "correct" way to do it. Take a look at GCPGTJ...... This is the first one that I have "moved" When I log it as a find, do I use the date that I am logging it? The date that I originally found it? Do I email the owner before or after or just leave a note in the log as I did in the above example? I know making it hard to do is my punishment for not choosing my first name with care lol.. (hey, I liked the original name!) Then, I have to email the owners of all the trackables that I have found and ask them politely if they would be willing to provide me with the tracking number of the item (I never thought about writing them down somewhere) and their permission to "discover" it where ever in the world it happens to be at the moment. Then, download all the pix I have posted, then upload them again to the new logs..... ARRGGG maybe I WILL just start over from scratch lol As I said, it is not about the numbers, I only had 51 to begin with anyway, but still being relatively new to the sport, I see these early ones as my "children" and would like to follow their progress and adventures. And, before anyone says it, YES I do realize I can still do that by logging into my original account. Just trying to stay (somewhat) organized under one acct if possible. Thoughts? Comments?
