  4. "Because of the deafening silence on the matter, the only thing I could assume is that he(she) chose to ignore the attacks in favor of some criteria established by GeoCaching.com. " I very much hope that that is not the case. I would take the advice of Nicole and Sapience Trek Contact Groundspeak directly and give them all the details. I am sure the matter will be resolved then.

  11. I like a Bison Tube in a Pine Tree my self. Better than lifting a skirt and getting stung by wasps. I have found a nicely hidden pine cone wrapped cache in a spruce tree too. I do have a bison tube hide but it not in a pine tree.
  12. I thought I would share this in case any one else has a problem with a Garmin. Mine would not turn on past the welcome screen. Garmin support got right back to me wit this info,,, "I will be happy to help you with this. With the GPSmap 60SCx if your unit will not power on properly the first thing to do is to remove any data cards that you have installed in your unit and try to power it on again. If your unit now powers on this indicates that your microSD card has a corruption and you will need to replace the card. If this does not correct the issue or you do not have a card installed you will want to perform both a software update and a "Master Reset" To do this you will need to download and install the WebUpdater from the attached link: http://www8.garmin.com/products/webupdater/howtoinstall.jsp After installing the WebUpdater you will need to pair your unit to the computer and run the updater. This will auto detect the software currently active on your unit and install any updates available. After doing the WebUpdater you will also want to perform the "Master Reset" to do this reset please follow the steps listed below. If your device is failing to operate correctly it may be necessary to perform a master reset. A master reset restores the default factory settings of a GPS, as a result all waypoints, routes, and tracks will be erased. If you wish to save this information utilize our free program BaseCamp. 1. To perform a mater reset: 2. Ensure the device is powered off 3. Press and hold Page, Enter and Power simultaneously 4. Select Yes when prompted, Do you really want to erase all user data? The GPS device will now reboot. The device will now be in the same state it was in when first purchased. Allow the device up to thirty minutes to acquire a good satellite location lock with a clear view of the sky". Thankfully it was just a corrupted sd card. They are now cheap and gpsfiledepot has free maps
  13. I believe he was pointing out that Waymarking is an alternative way to do what you want to do. I personally dont like Waymarking but many do. I would go with what knowschad said "Providing all other guidelines are met with, it sounds like ordinary nano caches to me. Be careful to avoid advertising for the pubs, though. The wording of your cache pages may be the most difficult." A a cache that promotes any type of business will not be allowed as it is a guideline violation. May be you could name your caches as PUB Crawl #1, #2 #3 and so for as long as you have adequate permission and no mention of the establishment
  14. Did you want to know how to post an image or did you have a pic of a unit that you would like to know more about?
