Could not have said it better, its nothing but a game and what you make of it. You wanted to start a discussion but then attacked those that did not agree with you. If your into achievement badges and such try a different caching site. There is one in particular that you can pay to play. The owner will take and pocket your money and never update the site. BUT you can get gold stars and chess pieces

Every labor Day we camp at Sampson State Park and tour both sides of Seneca Lake. Wine Wine and MORE Wine! Plus there are 2 micro breweries. I have played at 2 of the 4 golf courses. There are many caches all the way around the lake and Sampson is great to explore. If your a Nascar or just a race fan Watkins Glen is a very cool town to walk around in. Hope you have fun

I would like to see the cache page. If it is on school property then it needs proper permission. I have done and seen ones on school property. They were used for a middle school geography lessons done by TB tracking. Was a permission statement on the cache description page? A N/A log should be used as a last resort after some investigation.

I would recommend either The Peace Bridge (Buffalo/Ft Erie) or Queenston- Lewiston Bridge. If you want to visit The Falls enter Canada from either one I would avoid The Rainbow Bridge http://niagarafallsbridges.com/traffic_conditions.php3 -

I have a good liquid filled Silva Compass I use it to make sure the electronic one on the GPSr is calibrated correctly. Another reason to keep one is if you do a lot of solo hiking and caching alone. I do almost exclusively. So its a good idea to teach your self how to use one in case you end up with dead batteries A good outdoors store will have an associate that can teach you.

The maps are working fine for me with Safari and Firefox. -
I think its an awesome idea though! I have seen ones placed in the woods by a decorated pine tree, but like the others have said it should be listed longer than just the season still pretty cool.
