You "imagine", somebody else "heard a rumor", but the point is, there has been no official comment on this. Until it becomes an official cache type that is included in the standard GPX file, with an indexed number assigned to it, GSAK's developer will not add the icon. This is consistent with the way that he has handled other new cache types like the L&F Event and Block Party. Well, some of us did talk to some lackeys at the Block Party (and even Jeremy) which gave hope that these things are just getting off the ground and hopefully it will be fixed some day. Wherigo. I rest my case. My Friends agree. I did all of the "caches" in both of the Labs that weekend and enjoyed them all! I agree with this thread that I just want to be able to have them 1) show up in GSAK 2) be able to reconcile my stats (finds) with what the Geocaching.com web site shows. As it stands now, I have finds that I can't find or show in the stats that I generate. Hoping for some thoughts from the powers that be.

I'm considering the 600 and the XL. I know that the 600 has a 3-axis electronic compass, barometric pressure altimeter and thermometer but it's unclear if the XL does or not. Could somebody who owns an XL please confirm? Also open to opinions on these 2. Not looking for recommendations OTHER than these, please.

Thanks for having this functionality. I would like to suggest that you 1) number the pages 2) put the name of the cache and/or waypoint on each page. I printed a handful of caches this weekend so that we could take some friends caching for the first time and when the pages got mixed up in the car, I couldn't tell what page 2, 3 etc. went with each cache page. Thanks again!

Forgive my ignorance... What cache is it?

I will be in Cincinnati on Sunday with a few hours open in the afternoon. Anybody have some excellent caches they would suggest I not miss??? I'm going to be in the near North part of Cincinnati.

I went back to Target today and they had the VENTURE for $118 not the Vista.

I'm on the verge of buying a Vista and would be interested in hearing the details of your purchase if you are willing to share.

If I get close enough to search and don't find it, I log it. There have been 5 of these including my very first solo cache. I went back and found 2, still have to go find 2 others. One DNF occurred on a driving trip and I don't expect to go back there to look again. And, I DO NOT delete DNFs once I F it!!!!

What an excellent util spinner is. I've tried a couple of different versions of the same GPX and I seem to get the same zip file in the end. Is there a problem replacing the zip on the server if there is already a file of the same name?? Thanks again! Mobi may be gone!
