I am selling my very slightly used Garmin Venture Cx receiver. I bought it so i could do some geocaching here in San Francisco but unfortunately i have just not had the time to invest in caching. There are no scratches on the unit and i have only really used outside the home twice. Seems like a fun sport but not something i can get into for several years. Anyway, i paid over $220 through amazon, the UPC is missing because i sent it in for the rebate. I am only asking $150 for it and it is practically brand new. I have been using my Etrex Ventrue CX for some time now and i have just run into the problem of trying to store additional waypoints on the microSD card. I first tried to find out a way to use GSAK to send the waypoints to my memory card instead of the acutal GPSr but i couldn't find the solution in the help menu. The second thing i have tried is to transfer the waypoints which are currently on the gpsr to the memory card while it is installed so that i can free up the internal memory on the unit, but after looking through my user manual and all the garmin FAQs i'm stll stumped. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks. = )

how about an easy way to search shared bookmark lists through the Geocaching.com search engine, by name, location, or creator

i tried generating a pocket query about two days ago, when nothing came i tried a smaller search and double checked everything (email address, day of the week, checked my spam filters, etc) but still nothing. How long should it take?

First of all, forgive me if this has already been answered but my search found 0 results..... does anyone know if a Garmin Venture CX can be powered using the same AC power cord from my RAZR phone? It uses the same mini USB cable but i just want to ask b4 i fry anything. Thanks Also, how important is MapSource? Can i still use something lke GSAK to upload to my GPSr or do i need Garmin's own software?

Following the advice in some of these postings and hours of researching i decided to buy the Garmin Venture Cx instead of the legend CX to save 50 bucks and i already got a 512 microsd card for $11 off amazon, however it does not come with a usb cable and i am trying to identify which cable it uses seeing as i dont want to pay garmin for it = ) is it the mini usb 5 pin connector, probably better known as the Motorola Razr/Slivr usb cable? -thanks!
