You haven't stolen anything from me, on the contrary and I thank you for it, because I still discover at my age, the perversities of certain people, in a simple game, which brings us so many discoveries around our good old planet.
-
I'm sorry I started a cataclism, I just wanted to know why? And now I learn with amazement that some people play their own games, apply their own rules, while we are an international community of serious people, who all play according to the stable rules that we have all accepted, and which suit us perfectly.

So many "shenanigans" in this poor "Little Free Pantry" category, one has the impression of attending a game of musical chairs.
-
Finally Bluesnote and Saopaulo1 voted against, so for now I stay
-
There is a vote against me without any explanation

It's still great, for a few days the category "Little Free Pantry" has not been going very well. Following the leader's resignation, there were only two of us to manage the category. I therefore warn the new leader that it is urgent to recruit a new officer. Thing do quickly, I validate 4 waymark, today recruiting a new officer, and now I am dismissed as a messy without explanations. I prefer to leave the category, with my head held high, having done my job properly.

Changes to Art Nouveau/Art Deco Category
pmaupin replied to RakeInTheCache's topic in Recruiting and Category Proposals
Providing proof with a website, and a good thing, that will bring us appreciable help, because it is true that it is difficult to be an expert. -
Thank you very much "Max and 99", it's thanks to your help. This night for July 14, our national holiday, I could once again observe a very clear sky for the first time at 1:53 am at 85 ° and a second time at 3:30 am at 81 °, a real firework , it was splendid.

Looking for officers - Wooden Church Artefacts
pmaupin replied to SMacB's topic in Recruiting and Category Proposals
We often find wooden artefacts in churches, which have a history, which have a decoration of any beauty, which have something to tell, why could they not have their own category so that you can admire them. -
I hope this category will pass because, there are magnificent cloisters in France, it is always a pleasure to admire them and pass there with the silence that reigns there.

Anyone going to BC Mega and 20 Years in Seattle?
pmaupin replied to ScroogieII's topic in General Waymarking Topics
Well here is the Mega which was to take place in Abbotsford on August 22 is postponed to August 28, 2021, and of course the 20 years of geocaching in Seattle on August 21, 2021, so I canceled my hotel reservation for this year, but I will come next year, that's for sure. -
is there a mistake ?????
-
No, it was pictures taken on the internet. After that, photos were taken on géocaching.com
-
Why ?
-
A lot of difficulties with this young waymarker, who does not understand that one cannot go and look for photos from the internet to offer his new waymarks, even after having explained to him, so a lot of work of refusal and reprositions. It’s really difficult at times.

Hello community Now we have just finished our first week of confinement, it is not going too badly, I think that we will still be confined for a few more weeks. I go out every morning, respecting the instructions, to go get my fresh bread (I know the cliché of French with his baguette under my arm), but I cannot imagine not having fresh bread every day . For my purchases in the supermarket, I go there on Tuesday very early, to avoid the queues. The day at home for a retiree is not very interesting, I clean my little garden a little (yes, small, 5mx5m), I do a little exercise (I have a house with 3 floors, so I go up the stairs several times), I live in the city center, and we don't see many people passing on the street anymore (so much the better, people respect confinement). What I miss a lot is going for long hikes and taking lots of pictures, but it will come back one day. Covid 19 is developing a lot in our country, and I am a little afraid for my children and grandchildren, as well as for my mother who is 84 years old and who is alone at home. To occupy myself I sort my photos, to see if I have not forgotten waymarks, strongly the end of this epidemic. You are all doing well, be careful. Philippe

Hey keith Don't despair, I always hope to come see you. You did a great job. For the moment my trip is maintained. I am also an elderly person (not too old, 63 years old). I am retired (so no financial problems) and it is true that I am afraid with this virus. Since yesterday, the French population has been in confinement, but not total (with a pass, we can go get food). I am a little afraid because I have been asthmatic for a few years. In France the epidemic is spreading, and some people still do not pay attention to others (it is unfortunately usual with us, respect for others is always difficult). I hope that the situation will evolve in the right direction, and that our researchers will quickly find a vaccine. In the small town in the north of France where I live, for the moment I have no knowledge of any sick person. All of you are doing well, wash your hands, cough in your elbow, stay at home (when possible). Philippe

Declined Waymark that was approved in 2014
pmaupin replied to iconions's topic in General Waymarking Topics
No, it was on my waymark. This is what was on the mail: "Your waymark, Fontaine de la Fond - Talmont sur Gironde - France, has been denied for the following reason: I'm sorry, but these are not a fit to the category and were accepted my mistake. Sorry. " I do not understand that we refuse according to the modifications of 02/01/2020, when it fulfilled the conditions previously.
