  1. When i choose a cache to go to there is a line on the display from me to the cache, but it only shows when the display is on 20 mtr map. I would be happy if someone could help me to get the line to show on a higher display rate, like 2 km. Where do i adjust the rate to show the line ? I have no problem to adjust the rate for when to show the caches, but the line is a bigger problem. My unit is a Garmin GpsMap 64 ST (i hope my english is understandable)
  2. Just got reply from Garmin Support Denmark ** Do a hard reset, it is the only thing they can recomend/think off ** Until they release a software update that will fix the problem Hmmmm.... I have my doubt about the fix since this bug has been present for a long time with multible models I cross my fingers and hope the best
  3. Aint gonna cut it for me, my software is 3.10 (newest here in Denmark) I am having a correspondance with Garmin Support here in Denmark, still waiting for the latest answer. To start with they said my caches was in the wrong filetype (geocaching.com) Second they said the problem was my way to put them on the unit (using Basecamp) Then i told them several forum called it a common Garmin problem, havent heard from them since
  4. Yes i have a Topografic map of Denmark (dont know if the name is correct). I have put all data and BirdsEye data on the newly inserted SD-card. (left only topo map on internal storage) Now i tried to restart, removed batteries 10 times, WORKS PERFECTLY EVERY TIME :-)
  5. Bummer with the index problem :-( SD card now installed, i hope it fixes the problem (atleast it will help me in the field) I will use the pocket queries instead. Thank you very much, here from Denmark
  6. Thanks for the answers, have checked it all, no change. Now i have tried to delete them all and copyed them back to the unit.........IT WORKS AGAIN EDIT: I think i have found the problem. It works until i change the batteries, then the unit cant find the caches again. If i delete and restore the caches it works again. This gives me a big problem because i cant change the batteries in the field. EDIT EDIT: Just tried to mess around with the unit. I install the caches and turn the unit on - it works and then i turn it off again. When i turn it on again its gone again. It semes to be the startup "read" function that is not working propperly Any new ideas ?
  7. I use Basemap for my Gps unit, works great. When i look at my unit it have all the caches i have downloaded, including my birdseye pictures. But when i go for my caching adventure the unit cant find the downloaded caches. It semes that it can find the waypoints and parkingpoints but not the caches. Back to Basemap and they are all still registered on the unit. I try again and the unit still says no. Any ideas why ?
  8. Thanks for the fast reply. that did the trick
  9. I have a Garmin Gpsmap64st In the beginning i worked super but I have done something to the unit so it will only go on roads. Not so good for geocaching :-) Anyone know how to adjust it back to go "cross country" Again ?? When i try to go to a cache it says: Route calculation error. Maps do not have routable roads in this area
