I dropped two items in a cache last weekend. The coin had been in my inventory, the TB was still logged in an event from where I had taken it (shame on me, I know).
Back on the PC three days later (first time online after travelling) I find out that both items have in the meantime been grabbed by another cacher. While I'm happy for the TB and coin to be save and moving on, I would like to correct their history. I have both tracking numbers, but don't want to mess up even more.
Can somebody please tell me the correct procedure step by step. Do I grab them from the current owner? Then do my logs for the earlier dates and then what? How would they get back into the hands of the current owner?
Or just leave everything as it is......
