IMHO
While I like the prospect of finding coins and moving them along, it seems like the coin picture displayed by the cache in a cache listing is the coin's worst enemy.
If this information wasn't available, coin stealers would be hard-pressed to find coins with any regularity and probably give up.
On a personal note: I like leaving coins I've collected throughout my military career (not tracking coins) because the idea behind the coin for me has always been a reward and you can't get too caught up in where they end up -- just have fun. Finding a defaced coin with mean notes, threats, or chains on it in order to force the issue of keeping in circulation is just a little sad.
