What is the ettiquette when finding a geocoin in a cache? And what is the difference between a geocoin and a travel bug? It seems like the term is interchangeable.
If you look up some coins, they have a goal. Those are easy. You move them along and hopefully further them in their goal. I especially like the ones with a tag that specifies the goal so you don't have to look them up. But what of the ones that have no goal? That say nothing at all? It is ok to treat those as a trade item? I wouldn't mind trading geocoins through caches (I think its more fun that way) but I don't want to unintentionally take a coin that I shouldn't.
I suppose you could email, but that isn't always possible when traveling. And like I said, I don't want to trade out one of my geocoins for a "travel bug".
Can anyone help me with these questions? I'm new to the game so its appreciated!
