I'll work on the picture thing for ya...as for dimensions. The containers are made out of plastic. 12-14 inches high...4 inches in diameter, with a nice o'ring seal. Remember these containers are designed to keep welding rods dry and safe. MN12

Hi All! Just curios??...How many people have FRS radios?..ie. Motorola "talkabouts". I know channel 2 has been decided as the Geo caching channel. Has anyone had the pleasure of talking to other geo cachers by this means? I just picked up a set and I'm curios if I should take one on my adventures.. thanks! MN12

Hey everyone! I've got a great container...Pop into your local Welding store/home depot and pick up a welding rod container. They are waterproof and are cylinders that are nice and long and will hold lots of stuff!. I'm gonna grab a couple more and get them out there in some of the new cool locations I've found. MN12

I have 3 more tags so I'm not really worried.. Afterall I sending 1 around the world, which is my quest might take some time. MN12

We weren't Geo Caching. but back in the 90's we would do evening training excercises in the Don Valley. We'd set up Booby traps, trip wires etc... But the night we went in with C7's, C9's and C6"s was the best... The coppers were notified but they still couldn't belive it when there was a full platoon of guys crawling around in the woods with helemts, webbing and weapons on a Wednesday night!!! I'm off to Pettawawa for 10 days starting Friday night and My GPS is most deffintley coming with me!

Hey It happened to me too..As soon as the place thawed in the spring my cache was gone!....I might place one deeper in the park. Or I'll just make a new one and make a 2 stage micro cache so that it's harder to be found. But if you get ehe chance..MAKE"EM PAY!!! MN12

We are still working out some of the finer points. Such as access. I totally agree that pins and badges are great. Something new and different would be cool too. Any input is always appreciated. Thanks

Hey everyone! I've nailed a few caches and have found something I think is very interesting. Why is it that when I'm in the woods and standing still (Very important). Why does the direction arrow on my GPS start to do the Mexican Hat dance and jump and point me in all different directions? Thanks MN12

Ahhh yes! Many thanks to everyone who has helped me master the art of placing a cache and getting a proper reading. My Magellan 315 does have averaging. The other trick about taking several readings and walking in and out on diferent paths worked real good too. I've planted my second cache and the map was spot on the first time! Thanks again & happy hunting! MN12

Hmmmmm... Everyday I wake up to my alarm clock made in CHINA. I go to my Local Tim Horton's a get a coffee made in Canada, Fom beans made in south America. I then go to my computer, made of parts from all over south east Asia..I too am also looking for a job. Everyday I apply for jobs above and below my qualifications from companies that come from every part of the world. I cannot be picky as work is work. I cannot hold myself above any position because any foot in the door is just that. What happens to me after that is my own doing. SHOW ME DON'T TELL ME! Good luck hunting. mn12

How do I go about getting it spot on?...Keep making visits and update the Lat/Long until it's right? Encourage visitors to input the lat/long to improve the map?? Or is it normal for the maps to out just a hair anyways?.. thanks! mn12

Well after a while there it was at the Quebec Border!!! several hundred km's from where it should be. So I went back today with fresh batteries and 6 degrees later...WOOPS!!. Let's see how this map turns out? Later mn12

The area around me is FULL of railroad sidings and switches Now I know as children were told not to play by the train tracks. But scince there are many trails that run alongside these tracks is it okay if A cache is placed near a signal or track. Or is this Taboo due to the possible safety issues?? Thanks mn12
