I want my google map back. These new maps are junk.

These maps suck. Awful. I want my google maps back. Yesterday my Packet Queries were all screwed and not showing up on my GPS so I come home to find no googles map. Bummer.

I knew about that I was looking for a list with #s on it. :

How can I tell the # order of my hides. Which one is # 10 Which one is 288??

I don't 'hate' 'TFTC' logs, but I do feel they can be considered disrespectful when used to log a nice, well-though-out cache. Certainly there are more than a few caches that deserve nothing more than 'TFTC'. That being said, why don't you just skip the Field Notes, enter 'TFTC' from your phone and be done? If you truly want to thank the cache owner for the cache, write at least a couple of lines describing the fun you had finding their cache. If all I got were 'TFTC' logs, I would need to re-consider whether it was worth the effort to maintain my caches. No You all need to post this stuff. I have a bunch of caches. I try to keep up with them but I also need help. Everyone should carry a spare log don't just write about a wet log. DO something about it. A lot of people get them wet while caching in the rain. Well you need to keep that log dry while you sign it. It's not my job, to chase after you fixing my caches that you messed up. I didn't put the cache out like that .

Is it better to turn off the compass during the hunt or the hide, or keep it calibrated and leave it on???

The Newport Trail is a year-round offering and has the eVent waterproof membrane combined with a wool around the cuff area This is what keen sent me today. I just wonder when it gets to be 70 out, will that be to hot.

I have read a couple of reviews and they rate this shoe as a cold weather shoe. They are saying there is wool in the shoe . But the keen website doesn't say that, That is why I am confused.

Has anybody tried these? Is the Newport trail shoe only for cold weather? Is it to warm for summertime hiking?

I downloaded the program city navigator for my gps and for some reason it is not letting me get into unlocking codes for more maps. Does anyone know how to do this or have any suggestions on how to proceed with unlocking for codes.
