Thanks for the thread. I have emailed Garmin but will take a week to hear anything. I bought this unit for my car and then discovered geocaching. I"m thinking now I will just be satified to manually download the 660 and use map quest for my 60CSx. I used the old loran system comercial fishing so the 660 can be used. Just get a compass and go North to increase your top numbers and West to increase your bottom numbers. Not too difficult but I was concernede with the duability in the woods. Thanks again.

This could be a duplicate topic but I haven't seen my last attempt come on line. Here is my problem. I can download my 60SCx from Map Quest but when I try the Garmin 660, it cannot identify the unit. I haven't had any luck with GSAK either. My question is: Is anybody down loading their 660????? If so...How?

Has anyone been able to download caches to the Garmin 660. I have gad no luck with Map Source or GSAK.

I know one that was pulled ON me. Last Spring, we saw a new cache pop up. Being FTF hounds at that point, we headed right out the door. We searched long and hard trying to get FTF on that "Sloop Fair Lady" cache, without success. Later, back at the apt, we started seeing Found logs from other cachers. Eventually, we returned and made the find without too much trouble, swearing we must have looked in that spot during our first visit. Fast forward to a GeoMeet help this Fall. The host of the event comes over to chat and asks me if I ever checked to see what you could anagram from ""Sloop Fair Lady"... -WR Waaaay too many for ME to try to figure it out... Anagram tool Floop Sair Fady? And here is why I cant do puzzle caches .........But It does sound like some rapper name.... first time I have used forum so excuse my protocal. I bought my son-in-law a Garmin 660 for Christmas. He came to visit me in Florida for Christmas. I took him on a few caches and the final cache was to my home where the cache said the Garmin was his. He is now a dedicated geocacher, better than I am.

I also have a problem with xferring way points to my Garmin 660 using easygps. When I get ready to send to my gps it asked me to save it??
