  1. Bug When I enter a slash "/" in the PQ name, I always get "Sorry, the requested Pocket Query download is no longer available." when I try to download the PQ. So it's the same as it was with the spaces!
  2. I just noticed that when I save a PQ all the spaces from the name are removed. Is this intended or a bug?
  3. Having a GPS device is not illegal in China, just recording your position. I live in Beijing and traveled several times to Europe and Australia and nobody at chinese customs was ever interested in the things I brought with me. So don't be afraid. Put it into your pants pockets so nobody will see it if they X-Ray your suitcase (which never happened to me).
  4. Hi, I wonder whether some cachers will be in Beijing during the Olympic Games this August. If so, maybe we could organize a come-together or even an event? What do you think? Regards, hulmgulm
  5. Today I noticed that additional waypoints without coordinates are not included as waypoints in the gpx files, either in the PQs and the files downloaded directly from the cache page. As more and more multistage caches put their questions into the waypoint descriptions, they are lost! Is there a way to change this?

There is a new set of mutlistage caches arround which you can only find if you have a team of peoples from different countries. They are called World Caches and are located in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia and Germany: Canada Germany Australia UK USA I've already teamed up with one cacher from the USA and we're looking for a cacher who lives nearby the canadian cache. If you want to join our team and help us to find these caches, please send me an email to world-cache AT hulmgulm.de Thanks!

  8. Thanks for the compliment, but I don't like it very much. That's why I asked if someone can make an avatar for me. I just posted my sticker to show what kind of inspiration I had so far. The font is called Brush455. You can get it e.g. from here: http://fonts.appliedlanguage.com/brush455_bt_font.shtml
  9. Hello, I'm also looking for an avatar. Some basics about me: I'm male and are german. I use a Garmin Quest for caching. My name is just a name I came up with and has no meaning. I like to ride my BMW R1150GS motorbike. My wife often comes with me. She's from china. I tried to make something myself and I came up with the following sticker I put into the logbooks: A higher res version can be found at http://www.arm-dran.de/gc/Bild1.gif It show the "official" translation of geocaching into chinese and a pirture of my BMW motorbike. Thanks in advanced Andreas
  10. Hi, since today, I'm not able to start GASK anymore, as my antivirus complains about a virus in it. A fresh installation fails as it is blocked by the antivirus programm. I'm using Bitdefender 8 Standard (Engine 7.04898, Signatures 12/17/05) and it reports: c:\programme\gsak\gsak.exe suspect: Generic.Malware.SM@.C58FD61C I did a full scan of my system and this is the only "infected" file. I think this is a false alarm. Can someone confirm this? Andreas
  11. Hi Claude, I have a feature request for GSAK: Can you please add the possibility to assign custom bitmap images to the macro toolbar buttons. Is this possible? Thanks Andreas (hulmgulm)
