  1. OP- Touché My stats: Member Since: Thursday, November 28, 2002 # Finds: 162 # DNFs: too many Posts: Not much Places I've Cached: Ukraine, Germany, North Dakota, Diego Garcia, Ohio, Spain, North Carolina Experiences: Priceless I have fun going out when I can, try my best and know that #1 in finds in my house is me bottom line for me - it's not about what anyone thinks about me, I wake up, decide to do a cache and do it. I'm honest about DNFs and at the end of the day I go to bed.
  2. Groundspeak requires a license agreement for this. I went to all the trouble a year ago to get that license and haven't had anyone ask for the GC.com logo. For a napster/microsoft emblem? Lol, I never said what emblem :-) and readin the posts it was el diablo, great staffs btw...
  3. There was a geocacher, I believe back in 2003, that made them with a geocache emblem on them. I carved/painted an emblem on a staff I made. Sorry about the short post, trying to figure out how to attach (insert) the pic. Marty (Goldsboro NC)
  4. I'm moving in a week from Germany back to the USA. I decided to archive my caches and relocate them with their contents to a new area. I hope the articles that were placed in them will be enjoyed by other cachers. It's almost like the international cachce trades that have happen, except I'm moving them. Here is the discussion that helped in making my decision to archive them: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...topic=73716&hl=

  6. Point taken. I'll archive the caches and re-submit them, hopefully with the same name. The cache contents will be moved from here to North Dakota and I'll swap out the log books. Thanks for the advice.
  7. Sure, why not? If they're hidden in a different spot, wouldn't it be a different find? I'm biased towards the double logs. I'll be moving my caches in a couple of weeks and anyone who logged them before can log them again. Of course, the caches are going to be replaced 4500 miles away!
  8. I have a Garmin Legend bought through the American military clothing store and have had no problems. I currently use Mapsource and don't have any problems with the loaded German maps (roads and bike trails).
