How about sending each of us private email then? It would be about 20 emails but, heck, cut-n-paste is your friend. I dunno - I think that other people speculating and "maybe-ing" really isn't a good idea. That just leads to gossip and creates more problems than it solves. Perhaps emailing green gecko privately, perhaps with the link to this thread, would be a better idea. Especially if it were worded along the lines of "gee, we really will miss you and loved your caches; did we do something wrong, is it something we can maybe fix or help with?" Speculation on others' parts feels way too much like "Accident rubbernecking", and is the quickest way to make sure he (the only person with the real answer) will stay away. Well I heard this from the horses mouth. and it is on the other fourm is were I posted what I heard. I've been in the other forum, but for some reason I can not find the thread for GG's archived caches. Can anyone help me and let me know what thread? Thank You.. Butterflyangel

Just got my 500th cache today.......

Well, you sure dished some out while you were here. Seriously, I didn't smart off to you or have any ill intent. Just trying to be helpful as I have many times before here. I don't feel I need to explain myself any further. Sorry about taking it OT, but I think it's going that way already. thats cool, just took it the wrong way and it snowballed from there. after reading everyones comments i completely understand thanks for trying to help thats always greatful this message approved by thabigbird

I know the OP is banned at least temporarily, but hopefully he'll see this reply. I'm going to tell you a little story that recently happened to me. At the time I had somewhere around 530 finds. I went to an area event honestly expecting to have more finds than anybody else since I had just passed the most notable area cacher a week or so before. So I showed up at the event site, feeling all proud of myself, and the second person I talked to had about 300 more finds than I did. A short time later I chatted with a group of cachers, all 3 of them had at least 1000 more finds than I did and one in particular had about 5000 more than I do. Needless to say, I was knocked right off my high horse and it was a good character building experience. Sometimes it pays to remember that no matter how many finds you have, somebody has more. I just did a quick check and your current find count pegs you at #7695 in the world...which means there are a lot of cachers out there that can overrule you using your method...about 7,694 to be exact. I was just making a comment cause he was being smart by putting that page up there. how did you find out the stats
