I use the Ibycus maps pretty regularily and find them quite good. I do agree that 2.2 seems to have more 'backwoods' trails than 3.2 for some reason.

Go to http://www.ibycus.com/ibycustopo/IbycusTopo32.iso.torrent The link requires a BitTorrent client to use - it won't open in your web browser. This is a free topo mapset for all of Canada and should install on your GPS without problem
  3. the ibycus maps are all of canada, and you need to run them through some application (mapsource) to create a usable map image file out of a certain part of the map. so, you'd need to download the full 4 GB package and then create the maps you want out of that. if that's too much hassle, and if the area you're interested in is not too big, i can create a map image file for your 450, if you want. Have you figured things out yet? If not, let me know and I'll upload the IbycusTopo 3.2.gmap file (the Mac version of these maps that you can use in BaseCamp and lad on your GPS) to my MobileMe account then send you a link where you can download it. Cheers!

  5. I too have found some back roads missing for eastern Newfoundland in 3.2 that were present in 2.1. I've not attached any maps but one can see some differences if the map is centred on 47 14 N; 53 21 W. Cheers!
