  1. Today it is magically working again. Issue resolved by waiting?
  2. Thank you for your replies. Apparently, it should work on my iPhone 7 with iOS 15.8 and the Geocaching app version 9.43.0. Anyone listening from Groundspeak to this bug report? Details see my initial post.
  3. Thx for your reply. Any feedback from iOS users?
  4. iOS, not just today but for several days …
  5. Offline lists are not downloading. It seems to start the process but no data is transferred. Is anybody else experiencing this? Suggestions?
  6. Ist gerade wieder so ... Website wartet (vergeblich) auf unpkg.com ... Groundspeak lernt langsam (oder gar nicht) ... Hoffen wir, dass die Admins drauf stoßen und die Seite in Kürze wieder funktioniert.
  7. Finally, they have fixed it. Big hug to Groundspeak!
  8. Requests from Premium Members (=paying customers) should always be considered high priority, and urgency is a subjective category. I do blame Groundspeak for poor customer service.
  9. Nothing has changed so far. I wonder how long it will take to simply fix a broken (or inaccurate) link ...
  10. Click and open in a new tab is a right click - not working. Groundspeak should replace the wrong https://www.geocaching.com/account/dashboard# link but it seems that removing an obvious bug is not straightforward for them. I may be wrong but things should be easier in the "Bug reports and feature discussions > Website" forum, shouldn't they?
  11. Nope, nothing works. Mouseover, click and open in a new tab do not open the lists but just remain in the dashboard.
  12. I think I should illustrate what I mean: the attached screenshot is the lower left area of the Geocaching dashboard on the website, and you can see the wrong link that is displayed when you hover/click the "Your lists" menu item.
  13. The displayed link is: https://www.geocaching.com/account/dashboard# The link should be: https://www.geocaching.com/plan/lists Kind regards Fobrokel
  14. Same with me, and that’s exactly what I’m complaining about because I’d better like to see the unfound nearby caches.
  15. I'm referring to the announcement by Geocachung HQ that they introduced a “nearby geocaches” widget for iOS devices. By swiping right from the Home screen, Lock screen, or Notification Center you can add the “nearby geocaches” widget tto the Today View. The widget is said to display a list of nearby geocaches that you have not yet found. Unfortunately, the widget is erroneously showing caches that have already been found. After bringing his to the attention of Geocaching HQ Support they replied that they would "not address the issue unless they receive more complaints from the community". In other words, they "simply don't see many geocachers using this feature". So I want to bring this buggy feature to the attention of the community and I ask you all to support my wish that the bug will be fixed. If you are not yet using the widget please try it out and post your (hopefully supportive) feedback. BTW I don't think that a major effort is required to fix the bug ... Thank you! Fobrokel
  16. Seems to be allright now, thank you.
  17. Some problems added to the initial one, depending on the used PC or browser: Error 500, Login failure ... Hope they get it fixed soon.
  18. @capoaira I did not recognize that you had already reported the same issue ... BTW, what stands BML for?
  19. I noticed that the "Your lists" navigation item (https://www.geocaching.com/plan/lists) displays a blank page. Anyone else experience the same? Comments?
  20. Good idea but not working for the lists.
  21. It's an old thread, I know - Just want to say that I'd really like to see the Wherigo implemented in the GPS devices, but I have little hope ...
  22. Yes, like this (or something similar). Shouldn‘t be a big thing to realize ...
  23. I suggest to add a chronological sorting option to the souvenirs page. Currently souvenirs are displayed in alphabetical order but I’d be interested in seeing the most recently earned souvenirs first.
  24. Hope this is the right place for my new attributes suggestion... I think what's definitely missing is the "mosquito" attribute. Is there any chance this might be implemented? Thanks, Fobrokel
  25. quote:Originally posted by cezanne: quote:The basic problem, at least in my perception, is not language, but the regulatory inconsistenca. I do not agree as there are a large number of caches in Germany which clearly violate the rules, but this went unrecognized due to language issues. It is also interesting to note that in certain regions of Germany caches which would be classified as micros nearly everywhere else are classified as regular caches. Cezanne. Well, that's life. I don't mind variations. But why performing an approval procedure when sometimes - as you mentioned - caches are approved by people who don't understand the submitted descriptions due to the language used? Shouldn't he ask for a comprehensive English explanation, or ask someone else for help? No way to solve the problem here. Enjoy geocaching, and smile when any new surprise will pop up, from cache approval through cache size to unreadable logs. Let's keep it funny! Regards, Fobrokel
