  1. I've seen several listings for caches of this type.
  2. there was somebody trying to get it going in VA, I'm lazy...but if you check the NE Forums I am sure you can find it.
  3. I saw some on ebay the other day. May want to check there.

  6. I'd be interested in 2 black if you have them available. thanks
  7. any chance there are a couple stragglers?
  8. Northern VA would be a great place to visit! *not that I'm biased*
  9. I feel a road trip comin'....hopefully by then I won't be such a noob.
  10. They must all be in VA....last weekend pulled a dozen off each dog and another handful off myself and my husband.
  11. Just butting in to add my 2 cents. I went out for my very first time today, after getting some good tips from the forum (thanks to those that responded) I went for easy caches that had been found within the last month. I was successful on both...but if I hadn't been I was more than prepared to come home and log a DNF. My opinion is it's the fun of the search, if you don't find it don't log it. Reading some of the posts both on the NE forum and the main forum about people logging non-finds it really surprises me that people think it is ok to do that. If you don't sign the log book, don't log it as found - easy enough. p.s. I'm going out tomorrow too (they say the first step is admitting you have a problem)
  12. I would suggest reading up on 6-7 caches which have a below 2 difficulty, read the cache pages (print them out) and plan a route of where you want to go --- either one park with multiple caches or a couple of parks. Figure out the time between caches and schedule accordingly. Also, remember to take extra batteries and water with you. thanks for the tips! Is there a way to sort caches by park? I have been sorting by zip code.
  13. I am brand spankin' new to geocaching, just got my gps and have been figuring out how to use it this week. Plan to go out for the first time on Saturday and was hoping that some of the more experienced cachers would be so kind as to point out a couple of decent "first time caches" in the Loudoun county area. The list is so long, and of course I want to find them all, but know if I go out and have a DNF day I will be super disappointed. thanks for any guidance, look forward to bumping into some of you out hunting in the future!
