  4. I can't see any options to edit, I just have report, reply or quote. I think maybe its to old to edit, edit shows on this post but nonbe of the others in the thread.
  5. That's the clause I took...... Sorry I missed that, I copy and pasted the rules but didn't think to check it didn't contain details from the last competition.
  6. Hi, I've recently purchased a garmin Dakota 20, have found the map to be inaccurate. Says we are 28 ft a way when cache is in hand. Have been told about using talky toaster maps so found the maps and an install guide, the maps are showing ad being on my device, but didn't install when I unplugged like the guide suggested. Any ideas what I've done wrong?
  7. Firstly thank you to Yorkshire yellow for choosing my photo from march's competition. I've not created a thread like this before so hope its OK, please let me know if not and will edit. So for this month I have picked home grown. We've yet to travel far in our geocaching adventures, and are really enjoying exploring our local area. If we where to drop by and had time for just one cache where would you send us? rules are: 1) The photo must be cache related and to do with a specific cache (any type including events), caching series or caching trip - please include a link to the cache orthe GC code so we can see where the picture relates to. 2) In your post, please explain the milestone the picture relates to and its significance for you. 3) Maximum of two photos per caching team or cacher 4) The winner each month is decided by the winner from the previous month - the new winner starting the thread for the subsequent month. They may set a theme if they wish. 5) Given the theme, the photo can be taken at any point through your caching history. That's it - now it's over to you.
  8. Got it thanks, I've been on a mobile version. Can't see my idea so will create the listing now.
  9. Fantastic thank you she will be so pleased her photo won. I've got an idea for this months thread. Just going to scroll back an check I'm not duplicating a previous one. Edited to add, Is there a list of past competitions, don't seem to be able to go back very far.
  10. Will keep an eye out for them. Have seen a few Australian ones, and an american one. Hoping to find more as we go further afield, finding mainly nano and film canister sized ones round here. Have messaged the owner as suggested and heard back and they are happy for us to hang onto it, and glad it was safe.
  11. Its a German trackable and the number doesn't work on this website I have logged it on the German website geokrety. Also the trackable wasn't listed as being in the cache.
  12. On our travels today picked up a German trackable. We've seen quite a few in the few months we've been geocaching but have always left them behind as we won't be going anywhere till July. When we are heading to Liverpool to stop with family. Is it wrong to hold onto a trackable for so long. The paperwork on this one though laminated was quite damp. So figured I could dry it all out and pop him in another cache if its not okay to hold onto him. He is destined for the pyramids from his history he got as far as turkey and ended up in Manchester, last log October last year. Now he is in Anglesey. Felt quite sorry for the owners to have it get so close and end up further away than when it started.
  13. Thank you for adding my picture. It was taken a couple of weeks ago, at just the right time, she was getting disheartened as everyone had found something and she hasn't. Found on the rocky coastline Holyhead. Edited to add GC33VAK
  14. I have a photo of my daughter after finding her first not sure how to add the image.
