Nearly 130 views so far and no help. Well it must be a real problem as even Garmin hasnt answered my email!

How can I keep from deleting my manually entered waypoints ie "camp" "trailer" "blind" when I delete my pocket query gpx files? Im sure there is a way but I havent found it. Thanks.

I replaced my 60Cs with the 62S and as of today Im sorry I did. I cannot get maps to show and so far Garmin hasnt helped solved that issue. Unlike the 60 series I cannot modify cache coords to go to the next stage of a multi. I have to generate a new waypoint by using "mark" Individual caches from a query cannot be deleted. You have to connect to the computer and delete the entire query. I havent learned how to navigate the various fields very well yet compared to the 60 series but that will come with time. MY OPINION! Stick with the 60Csx. I would had I known what I do now.

I have the 62 S and so far Im not impressed. I had the 60 series before and I much prefer that format. So far I have not been able to get my maps to show roads/streets and Garmin hasnt yet helped. You cannot delete individual caches from the unit. You must connect it to the computer and then remove the entire GPX file. I have yet to be able to figure out how to modify the coords so I can do the "next" stage of a multi. I have had to resort to using "mark" and generate a new waypoint. The paperless feature is a nice addition. So far Im not impressed and I would stick with my 60 series if I still had it.

Just a quick question: Under Setup>Maps>Map Information Select Map what is Enabled? Try enabling everything and then selectively disable maps until you see what you want. The other answer is to pose this question in the GPS Technology forum. I have enabled each one but can only enable them one at a time. Doesnt seem to matter as neither one shows up.

Little help here please. I have a new Garmin GPSmap 62S and City Nav NA 2011 on micro SD card. I have installed the card correctly and the gps knows its installed but I cannot get it to display ANY mapping at all. Not the base map or the City Nav NA 2011. I didnt have a problem with my GPS map 60 but the new one is defeating me and Garmin is responding VERY slowly to my email for help. Im sure someone out there can help me out. Thanks. Tree Toad.

I ran a query for 500 caches and loaded them from GSAK into my new Nuvi 500. Now I need to delete them so I can load a new query. But I dont know how???? Pushed a lot of buttons and did a reset but they just wont go away. I sure could use some help. Thanks. Got it thanks.

Got a new Nuvi 500 which is Wherigo capable. Instructions arent good enough for this over 60 cacher. Is there a good resorce for a step by step instructions to get me started? I thought I was set to go but cant find the cartride on the Nuvi-just the practice one that comes with the unit. Thanks.

We have one new Garmin and another on the waiting list for a 3rd quarter delivery. We need Mapsource City Nav NA for both of them and want to know if we purchase the City Nav DVD does it come with 1 or 2 unlock codes? Is there a version that comes with 2? The older versions came with 2 but I dont know about the 2010 or 2011 versions. Thanks, Tree Toad.

Also, you may want to change the title (or get someone who can to change it) - your problem is not search by zip, its with additional caches showing up which you don't want. The zip code part works fine... Well I dont seem to have the problem when I try by GC or by state or by keyword or by coords so Im sticking with having a problem searching by Zip code.

Where is it that you are seeing this 'delete' check box? This is the page I go to:http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx. Why do my finds continue to show up?

We have had this zip code for over 40 years. With almost 5000 finds its not like its new to us. I do a simple search by zip, check the box (Exclude your owned or found items from results) and I always get the same thing. All my finds and the few I havent. Why?

When I do a search by zip code and check the box to delete all the ones I have found the found caches continue to show up on my search. Why when I check the box do they continue to show up?

Its been months! What is going on? What improvements did we see when we lost or searches? This is getting really really old :>(

This is part of the great SNAFU. It is a feature we use ALOT and its been "new and improved" for months now. Im going to let my premium status drop until the site is usuable again. Glitches shouldnt take MONTHS to fix. I guess its cheaper than fixing it.

Cant run an advanced search without getting my finds and my caches on the laptop, desktop or Droid. Why?
