My closest unfound cache is 1.1 miles (1.8km) away. I have not yet even tried to find it. In two days I will travel about 4,600 miles (7400km) to go caching.

Why do you want to watch somebody else's cache? You couldn't find it and want to see if somebody else does before you try again? It's a TB hotel?

Tilastotieteilijana ehdottomasti suosittelen etta aanestyksessa otetaan huomioon katkolla kayneiden maara. Mina esim. etsin katkoja vain Helsingissa, mutta on mahdollista etta jossain muualla on ihan hirveen upea paikka, mina vain en sita ole viela nahnyt. Minua kylla kiinnostaisi nahda lista Hesan parhaista paikoista, se auttaisi minua suunnitelemaan vierailuni Suomeen ensi kuussa.

I was under the impression that it was against the law to re-use a stamp, even one that had not been canceled. Not that I admit to having done it myself, recycling stamps was easier when they were attached to the envelope with spit instead of glue like today.

Last time I sent a package I splurged and spent the extra 15 cents for a faster delivery. It took 10 days to deliver the package one state over.

If you didn't ask for delivery confirmation, do you ever wonder if the sender/recipient is lying? I get packages from Europe all the time. Every time they are sent "surface" which supposedly takes 4-6 weeks. Every time they arrive in 5-7 days. That is faster than many packages within the U.S.

I'd say definitely write an article. If I had relied on word of mouth I would never have discovered the hobby. You have to register and create an account before you can view co-ordinates on the web page. You have to buy/borrow/steal a GPSr and learn to use it before you can do anything with the co-ords. Then you have to hike into the woods and find the plastic box. That is a lot of work just to cause a little bit of harm. I can't believe that many people want to do that. After the initial investment geocahing is a rellatively cheap hobby, and it is healthy, too. So definitely it would be good for college students.

Jos meinaatte tilata taalta USA:sta TB tageja niin kertokaa mulle paljonko jouduttte niista maksamaan postimaksuja ja tulleja. Mina voisin ehka tilata niita ja lahettaa teille itse suoraan "lahjana", se saattaisi tulla halvemmaksi. En tieda onnistuisiko ja olisiko tama vaivan arvoista, mutta ainakin asiaa voisi ehka harkita.

Was there a note attached to the TB stating its goal and timeframe? I "hate" it when I pick up a bug with no travel documents, and when I log it in it has a very specific goal in the opposite direction of my travels.

Those of us who have been vaccinated against TB always test positive for it on this side of the pond. This causes some not-so-fun moments at the doctor's office.

I will be in Helsinki in the beginning of July. I have already logged this cache so I can not help you, but to make it easier on others, why don't you name some of the bigger cities that are near these co-ordinates? Most people would know their home co-ords, but if somebody is planning a trip out of town he/she might not know immediately that he/she would be able to help with this. Good luck, it's a fin cache.
