The 62 SC model? Are you sure? Can you provide a link? I know the 62S and 62 have been on sale for that price. But haven't seen the 62SC at that price.

The " overshoot " didn't happen when driving or walking slow. On a long fast walk I could go by 50' or so....all you had to do was slow down when you got within 100'. I have one of each Meridian Model but the Color I have 3 and the Platinum about 8. Once upgraded to the latest firmware ( 5.40 I think ) they all behave pretty much the same and will read the 2 G card....only the Platinum had the 3 axis compass. I started geocaching with an old etrex and it worked fine. It wasn't the fanciest or easiest to use, but it got the job done. You can find them under $50 on the secondary market now.

Hello all. Received a Garmin GPSMAP 62sc from the wife three days after I bought one for myself. I haven't had a chance to use it. Box has only been opened to verify its contents are all there. No sense in having two, I'm sure someone else might be interested in acquiring one. I paid $369 for it, would like to get $325 and I will cover insured shipping to lower 48 states. Open to offers.
