I did not remove this cache, instead I resisted it on another caching site. Why won't Groundspeak discuss the account of someone who left the game , archived their caches and, left all of them in the field thereby disrespecting the game , and Groundspeak want to "protect" this guy! So some muggle stumbles across this cache- (now litter) with Groundspeak"s name all over it, and leaving an imprint of "a game where players leave their rubbish everywhere". Groundspeak need to take ownership of these situations, not hide behind "cannot discuss .. Blah blah" They do not have any proper policy in their rules, just by the fact that one of their help staff easily and willingly unlocked a cache, whilst another refuses to discuss. As a paying member (of which the CO of said cache is not) I think I'm entitled to at least discuss this with them, rather than the response I got . In a few years time this cache would become just as old as I the original caches placed, why is their no effort by Groundspeak to look after these old caches too ?

I found an archived cache over a year ago, and it was locked, Groundspeak kindly unlocked it briefly so I could log it. This week I found another archived & locked cache (by the same CO) and asked for it to be unlocked, and received this response : "Thank you for contacting Geocaching HQ. Except in very rare and extreme circumstances, we do not re-open locked geocaches, even if a cacher has physically signed the log. I apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may bring you." So I asked them, what is the policy on archived and locked caches ? and received this response : "Unfortunately, I'm not able to discuss this situation or any other account with you. I'm sorry, but this cache will remain locked. " HUH ? I never asked for any information about any other accounts??? And they refuse to discuss this situation ??? All I want is their POLICY on the archiving and locking of caches...! I also offered to remove this cache in exchange for a smilie, as it is only 22 metres from a newer cache, and there has been some confusion by cachers. The did not respond to that offer at all. they are hiding something..

What happens to all my lists with saved waypoints for puzzles and multis from the "Classic" app .can they be imported. AND I cannot even see any list saving capabilities, lists now are actually Pocket Queries. I hated the compass on the intro app, and now its back with this ?new? version. :( Filtering - as above. The Classic app works great and I am so used to it - i m H o . just keep tweaking it. The ONLY advantage is messaging.
