Hi. newbie here... I was playing with my newly bought Garmin 60S yesterday. it took me some time to figure out how it worked. After playing in the "Profiles" folder, all the settings have now changed and I can't put it back to how it was before....maybe I changed my profile ? when trying to find back the settings I liked, if I highlight a profile, there's 3 options: edit name, move down and delete ??? I already delete the classic profile by mistake I guess... Now if on the unit I press "page", I have lost the page sequence horizontal Ribbon that I learned to like a lot. please how can I get the unit back to what I suppose is the default profile or setting, and how can I get back the page sequence Ribbon when hitting "Page" on they unit thank you for your time and expertise. stef,Montreal

I ended up asking my friend .he works at a restaurant and they have this good kreovac (?) machine. it really did the job ! ( and I went hunting , and I got a moose.... yeh !!...) thanks again to everyone for their help stef

Hi. I was just wondering why do we even have the option of using or not using Wass for the GPS? what will I loose if I'm using Wass? will I burn more battery? will I loose speed?..... btw my unit is a Garmin 60CX TIA stef, Montreal

thanks I will look into it. you have been very helpfull stef Ok.... in my corner of the wood, the button for saving the screenshot is " print screen" located on the right of F12, and then you paste it in Paint or elsewhere... thanks again guys... Stef.

thanks for your help strumble I now got the big print figured out.. but would you please elaborate on the way to save the map as a jpg. when I want to save a map , I press save as type , and there I have only 2 options , save as .gdb , or save as all *.* where do I go to save as a .jgp ? TIA stef

Hi. I was playing around with my new toy and the mapsource software. I also got Canada topo. From the software, when I try to print a map, it's very small. The printed map takes only half of a regular white page Can I print a map in a bigger size? And how? When I save a Map on my HDD and then reopen it, it opens in the mapsource software. How can I save a map by itself? It is possible to change the map extension into .jpg so it could be seen in a regular picture program? TIA Stef, Montreal
