I always thought geocaching is just a prats game! Reading this crap I am sure.

The charging is activated by a switch in the battery compartment, not the battery setting. When the switch is depressed the option to select battery type is not available. Not quite correct there. The switch is only used when using Garmins own double battery. If using 2 separate batteries the switch is inactive because it is not depressed. Unless you do a modification. i.e use a bit of plastic under the batteries that holds the switch down and then the batteries can be charged through the gps unit. Although the said method is a bit iffy.

Don't know quite what you are asking? I'll take a guess! 1 Have you any mapping installed? 2 The geocache.com App? 3 Memory map? Try going to the files on the Monterra. Using an App such as Astro. and find your gpx file. Then open it from there. If you do have multiple apps that can open it you can choose which to use. CRF

That cannot happen. A satmap unit cannot be recognised as a Mass storage Device. Or am I missing something. Don't think so;-))) Chris

Whatever you do. Do not save geocaches to the SD card. Save to internal memory using satsync. If you use the map card it can take ages to load information if at all.
