  1. I can think of several down in the South East ,anything by tzus is always fun and an inspiration to ourselves and other cachers, also if you fancy the challenge binbags pesky pillbox series are fun(for the slightly deranged).MooToo

  2. I once went after a new cache that was logged on line already with the tag "will update later",on arrival at the cache i discovered my first solo ftf,on getting back to logging on line the cacher had indeed "updated"and conceeded that i was 1st .I asked the local reviewer to clarify the position in these circumstances and they fobbed off with the "be happy you got the 1st log book entry" line ,as an official ftf hound (other local cachers term) i'm still irked another cacher would do this...... 3. You want to try living in our neck of the woods, they go regularly, if you post honest opinions/logs and tbs and coins go but the caches remain in place .... Out of my six hides one was destroyed at its locale ,two went missing no trace (see above comment) the other three remain intact.

  4. Cant help phsically but try looking at Motorway madness caches ,try putting in search using motorway madness m number and junction number caches ie M6J4 there are plenty out there for moving bugs and coins ,some are even at service stations ,a little less tricky when caching in a big truck!!Good luck MooToo

  5. Should a bird box be used as a place to hide a cache in a Country Park that has protected areas for nestting birds and bird boxes in its trees ? ? ;)

Forgive me but your 1st post states it IS a bird box. ;)

I'd recommend a fake bird would make a better cache! ;)

If you have permission from the relevant authorities then... B)

Unless your feeling somewhat morally guilty! B)

I built the said "Birdbox"Which in fact was built as a cache hide and disguised as a bird box therefore is it is first and foremost a cache hide box.Myself and MeerRescue consulted the park warden who is more than happy with afore mentioned ,there is no moral guilt here, its a great fun hide that takes us away from the usual plastic pot covered with sticks!!
