  1. Not a geo-related name, but Sheba our geo-hound, went on a treck through an abaondoned train tunnel left with us and we snapped a picture I made my desktop background. more photos of her in my profile's image gallery and on our website www.MattAlbertson.com
  2. I hate to jump to conclusions, but I just wanted to see if anyone knew or had met this person. If you look at their account history each cache they visit appears to go missing or have the contents (bugs / coins / etc) disappear. Hopefully it’s a horrible coincidence, but I'm guessing not. Either way I wanted to ensure that the local community was informed about these recent events and thought this might be the most appropriate place to share the information. Not sure what one can do about it, but maybe others know of good solutions. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...amp;ul=cygnus63 Thanks, Matt Albertson
  3. Thats if the Green Jeep is still there at that time. Thats a couple of months away. neither of the green jeeps listed are in the cache however, the white jeep is

  8. I'd assume they have permission, but i'm not 100% about which you are refering to. I know the Red Cross coin does and from the thread it looks like the Freemason one is awaiting approval.
  9. Oh good info. I might just carry one or two of these in my pack incase I need help convincing someone that their property is primo cache territory
  10. I recently did a cache that was inside (GCYTER). But it was a public building (fire station) as to not violate the commercial rule. The chords took you to the front door and all you have to search for is someone at the front desk to give you a full service caching experience. I enjoyed it for its uniqueness, but definately wouldn't want to be doing a lot of indoor caches just like it.
  11. Wow! Very cool. This will help tide me over until I get my pda
  12. congrats on your 500! I hope to be there someday
  13. Last I saw both the stations at 45th and Fremont ave had gas. I was up visiting family in Bothell today. Everything in the Bothell / Mill Creek / Lynnwood area was drying out fast. Pretty amazing what having some pumps closed can do to the rest.
  14. if the server is hosted in here in WA we're having some inclimate weather which may be partially to blame
