  1. Just a quick note... the HTML part of your link in your original post is defective, as it contains some non-HTML-address characters. However, the link works if you cut and paste the actual HTML address as displayed in English into a browser links bar. Speaking of defective links and such, I noted the other day that this thread was initially started by the OP in February 2007, but their MySpace account has since been discontinued or disabled. Looks like the OP lost interest in both MySpace and in geocaching! Thanks for the info. I don't know a lot about HTML, URL, etc.... I see what you are saying though. If I knew exactly how to fix it, I would but I don't want to mess anything else up. So for now I will leave it. Thanks for letting me know. Peace, love, & happy caching.
  2. http://www.myspace.com/peacetrain76[/b]"]http://www.myspace.com/peacetrain76 I really didn't make this space for caching. I do "blog" my caching experiences. I believe this page could express some of me needs to cache, share love, and spread peace. Check it out, if you want to "add" me make a note that you are a geocacher. Peace, love, & happy caching. Peacetrain/Jenn PS Be sure to sign the guest book, pretty please. Thanks!

  15. Well this is a "newborn" group in North Central Ohio. You could say we just started the organizing part in the last few weeks. We are having our 2nd Meet 'n' Greet in just a few weeks, our first as NCOGeo. http://www.nocgeo.com (still in the works by Shawn W.) We just feel as though we in a great location of Ohio. No matter if someone comes from Toledo, Cleveland, or Columbus; we are smack dab in the middle. We also have some many small communities around us, we thought it would be great to pull together as one. We hope to hold a contest for our emblem. Check the website for updates. Any way, that's our area group. Just though I would post here to get the word out a little. Peace, love, & happy caching Peacetrain/Jenn PS Of course any and ALL encouragment is welcome in NCOhio!! Thanks
  16. I thank you....you seem to know where I am going with this. Let us see where it goes from here. Thanks, FireRef. Peace, love, & happy caching. Peacetrain AKA Jenn
  17. What I wasn't exacly saying for an event purpose. I more or less ment for appriciation and recognition of the great sport it is. I believe having such a day others would or could honor it by caching, not to see how many do actually (count) hide or seek. I am sure there would be an increase in geocaching on the designated day. For example Arbor Day or Earth Day.....plant trees, cleaning up, etc. Not that we all do exactly what the day is ment for but that the day(s) is there for apprieciation of our enviroment. Just a designated day, same day every year, just to say this is when this great, educational, fun sport of geocaching began, etc. Then, individual communities/organizations, could "celebrate" International Geaoching Day as they will. It was just a thought I had, nothing more nothing less. I know if I could or had the chance to thank Dave Ulmer for the idea that started this, I would. Any who.... Peace, love, & happy caching, Peacetrain/Jenn
  18. Something about this thread is very wierd. Who was the OP here? Two threads merged? But to answer this question: Take notice that because you have now posted 10 messages in the forums you are no longer a tadpole. Has this been asked often enough to make it FAQ material? Got it thanks.
  19. Where and/or what day in April? I knew I could learn this stuff here! Ok, I take that back. I found it on the CITO page. Thanks anyway. Now I know (patting self on back)!
  20. Shawn is the MAN! He is going to set up our NCOGeo site. Finally some conclusions, and we have only just begun..... It will be fun, I know I am excited. Thanks to everyone for all the advice, info, and feedback. Peace, Love, & Happy Caching As Always! Peacetrain/Jenn
  21. Where and/or what day in April? I knew I could learn this stuff here!
  22. How long am I a tadpole? Do I HAVE to be a premium member to be somthing other than a tadpole? It would be worth the 30 dollars just so I am not a tadpole I am kidding, I was just curious. Thanks. Peace, Love, & Happy Caching Peacetrain
  23. I think there should be an International Geocaching Day, set by Geocaching.com of course. I think it would AMAZING to see who and how many cachers/caches are found on that one particular day. As example, May 3rd, the day Dave Ulmer hid the first "geocache". Or May 6th for the First FTF! Just a thought I had. See where I am going with this? It could be international just like geocaching has evolved into. There could be already something that exsist, I don't know. If it does....SOME ONE FILL ME IN ! (be sure to archive this post (ASAP) if there is such a day already, please! ) Peace, Love, & Happy Caching As always.... Peacetrain AKA Jenn
  24. (tap tap tap) "Is this thing on?" OK, just checking..... From North Central Ohio....... (tap tap tap) "I don't think this thing is on!" Peace, Love, & Happy Caching From Galion, Ohio Peacetrain AKA Jenn
