The problem with caves is there is bad enough reception in buildings much less x number of feet of rock and dirt. so caves are out this is from a one above where I accidentally put the wrong quote

A website called Mapmyride.com allows you to mark rides on a road. Now for the paying members they allow you to find caches on a route, but what I am suggesting is that you could allow people to make routes like they do on this website (to see go on the website) but on a geocashing.com map allowing you to look at this bike route and then simply by clicking on the cache symbol decide if you want to (or have the time to) do the cache near the route and gives people a way to see other people's bike routes plus do the main thing GEOCAHSING! Who thinks this is a good idea?
