  1. well just a quick stop by and found this thread, I have slowed down my caching due to life doing other stuff and a huge amount of nanos and micros reducing my interest. I still do a few but I have just got my membership renewal and for what i do I dont think I will renew as 20 quid would be better spent elsewhere. maybe later
  2. I have done a few at night, I did 3 last night and 2 were FTFs I have done a few during the day and not found, while thinking about the search I had a thought so returned at night and found Not done any night specific ones though Alan
  3. I have done caches in and using graveyards and have no problem with them. I find graveyards very interesting and as said peacfull places. It makes me feel awkward walking over someone so I do my best to walk around and respect the place. I found Slaves grave in Bristol facinating(although I couldn't finish it that day} and the cemetry at High rock, Bridgnorth is beutiful. Alan
  4. Just ordered 1 silver and 1 gold for my train loving son. Weather he releases or not remains to be seen. Alan

Hi thanks for the replys, dipping and washing will bring some great TB names, I like the ones so far . Glad I asked a sensible question. The 14 day reminder should still stay, I didnt know there was one but I do now, but I had a trip planned in a week so I kept them and collected all I could. The ones I knew about I left until it was only a week to go. The dipping option should not wash away the 14 day notice as the bug is still in your possesion. sounds good so far Alan

Hi I currently have retrieved 3 bugs from local caches as i intend a trip this weekend which will get them all far away and into a tourist area hopefuly to be picked up and taken who knows where. I am still visiting other caches and when I log my visit I deposit each TB and then have to go and retrieve them again; is this the right thing to do? it keeps the miles ading up and adds a bit more detail to their trip.. can GC come up with a visiting button or similair so i can log them in and out easier or even automaticaly as the system knows i have them when I visit each cache? Cheers Alan
  9. I have made 2 logo stickers to stick on my Landy, so if its in the carpark keep an eye out for me and a little black Staffie called Chalkie. Alan
  10. Helooo I am looking to put some new caches around my home town to form a circular walk extending on 4 caches placed by other cachers. They are all to be on land with public access but the guidlines say I have to get permission from the landowners. How do you find out who owns what? With it all being public do I really need to find out? Alan
  11. Hope it all goes well as I'm after getting that one, amongst others I hope, on the 7th during our weekend visit. Al
