  1. Is this the same tdw who had a little tant, converted all his caches to members only, archived them all, then spat out his dummy?
  2. No Sh*t! This works great for me
  3. Please can current PMs update us on the status of these new features.
  4. Looks like you chose the wrong earthcache: we chose this cool one in the Great French Cache Desert... Cool Dune Cool, NOT
  5. No, not a threat. My PM had already lapsed. As Jeremy has now logged in after his weekend away, the lack of response suggests that I've saved myself 30 of your US dollars!
  6. My premium membership has just lapsed...I will gladly renew it if (and only if) I can store more than 20 PQs As I have said before: I am happy to only run 5 per day. I am happy to have each PQ resticted to 500 results. Why can't I store more than 20? Your call, Jeremy!
  7. Can you also increase the number of PQ we can store from 20 to say 50 I don't need to run more than 5 per day, and I don't need more than 500 caches per query, But I would like to store more than 20 thx
  8. I've heard of people strapping a GPS to their dog's collar. It's surprising where they get to at night...
  9. Thursday night's not a problem for me, except I'll be up in Manchester, not London...
  10. or maybe her batteries just ran out
  11. I have seen this request before. I'll look into it. Any progress on this. I really need to store more than 20 PQs, I don't mind only having the ability to run only 5 per day. The overhead in storing more than 20 is minimal, and there is no change on the bandwith used in downloading
  12. The UK postal autorities even objected to a Locationless cache on their property... Check Vicky's Box
  13. Has that Cheshire Cat found a friend in Jesus? I thought he lived at The House...
  14. I think you mean uninterested. Disinterested means something else. Sorry to be pedantic. Glad the TBs are safe! I see your pendantry and I raise you one nitpick I'd like to double your nitpick, but it appears that Dr 'Bex' Johnson agrees (doesn't mean she's right though!): They (*t*)uck you up, your mum and dad, They may not mean to but they do They fill you with the faults they had And add some extra just for you. There is a 'Radio 3 link' to Dr Larkin, but that will have to wait for another day!
  15. I think you mean uninterested. Disinterested means something else. Sorry to be pedantic. Glad the TBs are safe!
  16. Obviously not a Swiss Mountain...they're a bit closer to the sun this time next week...I'll have done a little maintenance
  17. As far as I can see there are 2 problems with the UK coin: 1. They failed to realize that for an extra quid, they could get their own icon and tracking on the gc.com website. 2. They have failed to set a cut off date for orders. When IS it going to happen? Is it going to happen. The design is great. But the admin is crap. Trust the Germans to get it right. They've got thier own (generic) icon. And I've got 3 in my pocket right now! As far as the stats page being cluttered...maybe GC has got too many commercial Jeeps....
  18. This may be a little controversial... 1) All congratulatory threads should be banned immediatly 2) Anyone wishing to congratulate another should do so by way of a pint at the next Event.
  19. We got 2 x Garmin 60c + 1 copy of city select europe for just over $1,000, postage included to a colleague's home address in the US. He brought them over to the UK just after christmas . We've never looked back. A huge improvement over the B/W Legend (which itself was an excellent upgrade from the 12XL). The colour screen is excellent. The auto-routing with CitySelect amazing. The contour maps sit transparently above CitySelect and are a extremely accurate (despite the SMC's disclaimer: get them here - Garmin Contours If you can find a friend in the US, I can recommend Tiger GPS (or take a chance and pay the import duty when the package arrives, but international shipping is expensive too). Either the 60C or 60CS, depending on whether you think the compass and altimeter are worth the extra. Only get the B/W 60 if you really can't afford colour.
  20. 500 limit per PQ - no problem 5 PQs per day - no problem Both these restrictions seek to conserve bandwidth, which is both sensible and acceptable But why can I only store 20 PQs. The overhead in storing more is minimal, and would save having to re-input the parameters on a regular basis. Please can we store 50. I don't want to be able to run them all at once! BB
  21. Would that be bikes with one wheel, or two UniCache
  22. No dogs here...but are bears allowed? Half of the twins team "DoubelTroubel" Quad Team Photo have lots of bears
