  1. I think cemetery caches should not be automatically rejected. I have done two which were well thought out. The first was done as a tribute to the crew of a plane which crashed on the site near the end of World War II and which has been almost forgotten today. It sure made me think about the sacrifices that generation made. The second was a small 200-year old cemetery in what is now an urban area, which is almost completely surrounded by development. Unless you look, you'd never even know it was there. Cache was placed in the wall around the cemetery itself. I thought this one was also well done - the owner discussed the history of the site and notable people buried there. The site itself is an unexpected island of tranquility in a suburban ocean. I was quite glad to have found it. Cemetery caches have their place.
  2. Having a bum leg, I usually will check the attributes to see if I might have trouble getting to the cache (like for a cache which requires climbing), and I appreciate those owners which set the attributes appropriately.
  3. I'm continually surprised by the number and quality of parks around me I knew nothing about until I started caching.
  4. I was in the parking lot of a local WalMart when I saw a 35mm film container laying on the ground. Then I noticed it had a Geocache sticker on it. A nearby lamp post had been vandalized, so I deduced that the cache had fallen out and never even noticed by the vandals. I put it back where I thought it belonged and, on line, was able to identify the cache and notified the owner of what happened. Claimed the find, though.
  5. Chester County here. Just on the edge of French Creek State Park.
  6. Massachusetts Geocachers first state cache coin. Soon to be my first release.
  7. I'm about to release my first geocoin into the wild and was trying to find a standard editable form which would fit in a standard coin pocket which would allow me to enter the name and goal of the coin. I have an example, but it's not capable of being edited. Is there some standard available?
